The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:48 p.m., lost, found property — A neon green bicycle was left in the bushes near a South Washington Street park.

6:07 p.m., traffic violations — A person driving on Mono Way said another vehicle was following him.

7:24 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person was hanging out of the driver’s side door of a vehicle while in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot, and someone said he was under the influence of something.

9:05 p.m., trespass/loiter — A person refused to leave a South Barretta Street property when asked.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

11:12 a.m., Chinese Camp — A person on Maiden Lane received a letter from a neighbor asking to speak to a deputy about things happening in the area.

2:39 p.m., La Grange — An unknown person threw a rock through the front door of a La Grange Road business.

6:44 p.m., Jamestown — A Highway 108 business found video footage of a woman stealing two beers.

10:33 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Hillsdale Drive claimed she was beat up, forced into a vehicle and then forced to use her debit card to withdraw money.

8:30 p.m., Sonora — Jacob Glasov, 22, of the 19800 block of Via Redonda Road, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges evading a peace officer after an arrest on Highway 108.

5:08 a.m., Jamestown — Naomi Lynette Arista, 18, of the 2000 block of Non Pariel Way, Groveland, was booked on suspicion of possessing an unregistered loaded firearm and misdemeanor charges driving under the influence after an arrest on Highway 120.

5:18 a.m., Jamestown — Alwyn Bans, 20, of the 3300 block of Clogston Way, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of possession of a narcotic controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a firearm and possession of an unregistered loaded firearm following an arrest on Highway 120.

1:05 p.m., Columbia — Samuel Raymond Santry, 24, of the 12200 block of Yankee Hill Road, was booked on suspicion of assault with a firearm on a person following an arrest at his home.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

2:50 a.m., San Andreas — People were seen behind a Main Street residence with flashlights.

7:33 a.m., Valley Springs — A man was seen sitting in a vehicle in a Highway 26 parking lot, but when a deputy responded, the man was gone and the vehicle had a flat tire.

8:10 a.m., Angels Camp — A garage on Appaloosa Road was broken into.

4:00 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A person on Francine Road accidentally called 911 using their Apple Watch.

7:28 p.m., Vallecito — A person on Cedar Circle heard yelling and a loud bang.
