The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

1:14 a.m., trespass/loiter — An employee of a Sanguinetti Road business requested having a serial shoplifter removed from the business.

8:10 a.m., pedestrian/vehicle checks — A warning was issued to someone on South Green Street for a dog leash law violation.

2:15 p.m., lost, found property — A person on Greenley Road lost a floral clutch purse with a California identification card and a Walmart card.

2:42 p.m., parking citation — A citation was issued to a vehicle parked on North Norlin Street for parking in a permit-only area.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:06 a.m., Strawberry — Someone shot a hole through the window of an Old Strawberry Drive home and a resident found the bullet.

11:43 a.m., Columbia — A man on Parrotts Ferry Road yelled threats at someone while holding a rock.

11:44 a.m., Columbia — A Parrotts Ferry Road resident had a woman come by his home to do work during the day, and while she was working she played very loud music. When a neighbor asked her to turn it down, she threatened him and turned the music up.

1:33 p.m., Twain Harte — A Pineview Drive resident’s neighbor cut up logs and threw them onto his property.

8:58 p.m., Sonora — An SUV passed other cars over a double yellow line on Tuolumne Road.

1:19 a.m., Sonora — Jamie Marie Huisman, 31, of the 9700 block of Smith Station Road, Groveland, was booked on suspicion of possession of pepper spray while a felon and misdemeanor charges driving with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia, unlawful display of evidence of registration and possession of a narcotic controlled substance following an arrest on the 18000 block of Vergus Road.

4:45 p.m., Sonora — Maura Rose Aherne, 26, of the 500 block of Kimble Street, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of grand theft, criminal conspiracy and bringing a controlled substance into jail following an arrest on Mono Way.

4:45 p.m., Sonora — Brandon Jacob Dominguez, 22, of the 3300 block of Saddle Creek Lane, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of grand theft and criminal conspiracy following an arrest on Mono Way.

4:45 p.m., Sonora — Joseph Adam Krueger, 33, of Modesto, was booked on suspicion of grand theft, criminal conspiracy, bringing a controlled substance into jail and misdemeanor charges probation violation following an arrest on Mono Way.

4:45 p.m., Sonora — Christopher Ryan Rocha, 23, of the 900 block of Swenson Way, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of grand theft, criminal conspiracy and misdemeanor charges probation violation and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on Mono Way.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

12:05 a.m., Douglas Flat — A man came to the door of a Highway 4 residence and requested a ride because he said a mountain lion was chasing him.

8:57 a.m., Copperopolis — People were involved in an argument on Bridle Point Circle.

3:07 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A Doster Road residence was almost the victim of a telephone scam.

7:39 p.m., West Point — Deputies could not locate anyone on a Bummerville Road property after a report of unauthorized trespassers.

11:07 p.m., Valley Springs — A person was seen on the side of Highway 26.

7:00 a.m., Angels Camp — Matthew Davis Mertz, 29, of the 300 block of South Main Street, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of marijuana over 28.5 grams following an arrest at his home.

7:40 p.m., Angels Camp — Steven Quintin Henson, 60, of the first block of West Saint Charles Street, San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of felony parole violation and misdemeanor charges of a traffic offense and failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge following an arrest on the 2400 block of Highway 49.

8:00 p.m., San Andreas — Shawna Lynn Cummings, 24, of the 8100 block of Chardonnay Place, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of failure to appear on a felony charge, grand theft, receiving known stolen property and misdemeanor charges shoplifting, using another person’s credit card and failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge following an arrest on the 1000 block of Jeff Tuttle Drive.
