The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:41 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Someone yelled foul language on Baretta Street.

12:46 p.m., hazardous situation — A vehicle rolled into the road and was blocking traffic on North Stewart Street.

5:23 p.m., fraudulent activities — Someone tried to pass a fraudulent check at a business on Sanguinetti Road.

11:39 p.m., controlled substances — A person used drugs inside a gold GMC suburban outside a business on South Stewart Street.

SATURDAY

10:35 a.m., lost, found property — Personal belongings were scattered across a parking lot on Elkin Street.

4:59 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Three juveniles on bicycles cursed and threw rocks at a vehicle as it went through a carwash on Pesce Way.

6:47 p.m., theft — A woman’s purse was taken out of her vehicle at a business on Sanguinetti Road.

SUNDAY

1:58 a.m., assault — A man said his roommate’s boyfriend attacked him and hit him with a beer bottle on East Hillcrest.

6:49 p.m., theft — Beer was stolen from a business on Stockton Road by someone wearing a red beanie, blue jeans and a black sweater.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

1:38 a.m., Sonora — A person on South Sunshine Road said someone was sleeping in a trailer under a tarp on their property.

7:26 a.m., Sonora — A Creekside Drive resident saw a man in dark clothing and a hoodie take off running through her driveway as she left to go to work.

11:46 a.m., Twain Harte — A person was seen passed out inside a vehicle on Meadow Drive.

1:45 p.m., Sonora — An elderly woman on Rimrock Road believed that an animal was eating her cat, but pointed to a stick on the table as the responsible animal.

3:38 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Blue Bell West maneuvered her vehicle to look at something, but a man and woman in a nearby car distressed her when they asked her what she was doing.

SATURDAY

12:18 a.m., Sonora — A Rimrock Road resident had hallucinations of seeing men with guns on her deck, men crawling toward her and a headless man in her house that may have been related to a recent tick bite.

4:54 a.m., Jamestown — Someone drove through a fence in front of a Highway 108 business and damaged a deck and table.

11:26 a.m., Sonora — A Mono Way resident said a person threw a shot glass at his girlfriend when she exited her trailer.

5:42 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on Placer Drive said she wanted to report that her father’s wallet was stolen in Mexico because Mexican officials would not allow him to report it missing, and if it was found at a crime scene he would be a suspect.

11:15 p.m, Groveland — A first-time camper at a site on Elderberry Way heard a disturbance in the area but wasn’t sure what had occured because they were unfamiliar with the area.

5:45 a.m., Jamestown — Two people walking on Rawhide Road appeared to be staggering.

8:48 a.m., Sonora — A man on Lime Rock Road said that he was “fresh out of the nut house” and made multiple erratic statements such as “the vultures the priest,” “the rich people jog during the day,” “the puppies are doing their job,” “hole in my stroll” and “we were supposed to paint my daughter’s house and she’s a lesbian.”

6:49 p.m., Twain Harte — A man in a Confidence South Fork Road residence broke items in the house after he possibly stopped taking his pills and bled from the stomach and arms.

10:59 p.m., Tuolumne — A person on Hayden Road called to ask about who “people are” but then the line disconnected.

10:00 p.m., Sonora — John Stephen Cary, 47, of the 200 block of Athena Drive, Copperopolis, was booked after an arrest on Saratoga Road.

9:15 p.m., Jamestown — Diego Urtiz Araujo, 28, of Winton Way, Winton, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges driving without a license after an arrest on Highway 120.

11:50 p.m., Jamestown — Michael Evan Douglass, 33, transient, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft and receiving a stolen vehicle following an arrest on Chicken Ranch Road.

1:40 p.m., Mi-Wuk — Kelly Anthony Correia, 36, of the 18000 block of Lime Rock Roadm was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger resisting an executive officer and misdemeanor charges carrying a concealable firearm, disorderly conduct and battery after an arrest on the 14600 block of Highway 108.

9:36 p.m., Jamestown — Jolene Renee Redmond, 38, of the 300 block of Hans Way, Haughton, Louisiana, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft and theft or extortion of motor vehicle after an arrest on Chicken Ranch Road.

1:58 a.m., Arnold — A person on Highway 4 heard voices and banging, but it was determined to be the sounds of a nearby business closing.

1:17 p.m., Arnold — A person believed suspicious people were on a Crystal Way property, but it was determined that the people were homeowners.

2:16 p.m., Arnold — Target shooting was heard in the area of Blagen Road, but a deputy determined that they were shooting in a safe manner.

7:15 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A person talked to themselves on Maretta Lane.

8:25 p.m., San Andreas — A person believed a burglary was in process on Church Hill Road, but it was determined a vehicle owner locked keys in the car.
