The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

1:34 a.m., controlled substances — An officer patrolling West Lane found a small amount of drugs and booked it for destruction.

4:02 a.m., reckless driving — A woman in a Greenley Road parking lot appeared to be under the influence of something, but an officer cleared her.

10:41 a.m., trespass/loiter — A transient man paced in front of a Sanguinetti Road business and peered into windows.

11:15 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A person in a green truck on Mono Way spun donuts and caused rocks and dust to fly

4:02 a.m., reckless driving — A woman in a Greenley Road parking lot appeared to be under the influence of something, but an officer cleared her.

10:41 a.m., trespass/loiter — A transient man paced in front of a Sanguinetti Road business and peered into windows.

11:15 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A person in a green truck on Mono Way spun donuts and caused rocks and dust to fly onto a woman’s vehicle.

8:08 p.m., reckless driving — A person followed a possible DUI driver on Parrotts Ferry Road and Highway 49, but an officer determined at a Sanguinetti Road parking lot that the person was not under the influence.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

3:43 a.m., Big Oak Flat — A person on Highway 120 saw an orange glow between Big Oak Flat and Yosemite.

9:18 a.m., Sonora — An older black Ford Mustang was parked in front of a Foothill Lane home for over three weeks.

3:07 p.m., Columbia — A person on South Airport Road said a woman killed her father in a trailer by withholding his medication.

6:20 p.m., Sonora — A person smoked marijuana in a Cavalieri Road house even though a 5-month-old child was in the residence.

10:39 p.m., Tuolumne — A person at a Tuolumne Road apartment complex said her neighbor was acting suspicious.

Felony bookings

WEDNESDAY

10:21 p.m., Sonora — Blase Giovonni Sorritelli, 45, of the 11800 block of Highway 49, was booked on suspicion of failure to register as a sex offender and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance and driving while license was suspended for DUI after an arrest on Sawmill Flat Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

11:15 a.m., Wallace — A Whalen Road resident was the victim of theft but did not request any further action by deputies.

11:27 a.m., Valley Springs — Shots were heard in the Kirby Street area.

3:25 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A home on Oak Lane was burglarized.

8:26 p.m., Copperopolis — People argued on Morado Circle.

3:45 p.m., San Andreas — Robert Michael Stoker, 47, of the 2200 block of Gallius Lane, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of violating the terms of his post-release supervision after an arrest on Jeff Tuttle Drive.

8:45 p.m., San Andreas — James Eliseo Robinett, 31, of the 300 block of Luddy Lane, was booked on suspicion of vandalism and misdemeanor charges battery on a person after an arrest at his home.
