11:31 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man in a leather jacket attempted to sell a watch at a South Washington Street business.

MONDAY

FRIDAY

2:08 a.m., Twain Harte — A man caused a disturbance in a Joaquin Gully Road store and took things off the shelves and ate them without intending to pay.

12:33 p.m., Columbia — A person heard items being banged into each other and glass breaking at an abandoned John Wallace Road property.

12:34 p.m., Chinese Camp — A Washington Street resident was hired to tear down a building behind his property by his neighbor, but then the neighbor claimed he was trespassing and threatened to shoot him.

7:30 p.m., Sonora — Two people fought at a Longeway Road building and three people attempted to break it up.

11:25 p.m., Jamestown — Lights were on and glass was broken at an O’Byrnes Ferry Road property.

SATURDAY

10:42 a.m., Jamestown — A Peppermint Circle resident had a falling out with a friend who wouldn’t allow him to pick up his guitar and amplifier from his home.

11:36 a.m., Jamestown — A Lone Ben Road resident received a call from his neighbor who told him there were people on his property cutting down trees for firewood.

4:25 p.m., Tuolumne — A lost wallet found at a Tuolumne Road North property contained suspected drugs in a small plastic bag.

9:09 p.m., Sonora — A mountain lion was spotted in a Greenley Road parking lot.

11:39 p.m., Groveland — A vehicle’s tires were slashed on Hells Hollow Road.

3:59 a.m., Groveland — A person on Junipero Serra Court smelled smoke and burning plastic in their house.

1:38 p.m., Jamestown — A person on French Flat Road heard a person shooting what he believed was an automatic weapon.

4:42 p.m., Twain Harte — Kids on Highland Drive threw rocks in the road.

4:48 p.m., Sonora — A Mono Way woman whose finger was broken by a man in 1981 heard voices saying “He didn’t break your finger.”

7:12 p.m., Columbia — A person heard a party attended by eight people behind a Parrotts Ferry Road business.

MONDAY

1:05 a.m., Sonora — A person on Awahanee Road said someone was trying to kick their door in.

8:48 a.m., Sonora — Two batteries were stolen out of equipment at a Mono Way business.

9:50 a.m., Jamestown — A Vista Drive resident said someone had been going onto a dead man’s property.

11:15 a.m., Sonora — A skunk was living under the floor of a Yosemite Road residence.

2:23 p.m., Twain Harte — A guest attempted to leave a Twain Harte Drive business without paying.

10:01 p.m., Jamestown — A man and a crying woman were on the side of Chicken Ranch Road.

12:06 p.m., Chinese Camp — William Carlton Castner, 34, of the 10000 block of Main Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of a zip gun and misdemeanor charges resisting a peace officer after an arrest near Highway 120.

12:29 p.m., Jamestown — Ervine Rose Meno Hunt, 30, of the 400 block of Bothum Road, Turlock, was booked on suspicion of grand theft and criminal conspiracy after an arrest on Chicken Ranch Road.

2:30 p.m., Sonora — Wayne Martin Dunlap, 27, transient, was booked on suspicion of possession of forged notes after an arrest on the 100 block of Yaney Avenue.

11:34 a.m., Sonora — Dannielle Annette Daley, 34, of the first block of Elm Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of a narcotic controlled substance for sale.

1:53 p.m., Sonora — Brett Alan Burbey, 53, of the 17400 block of Livermore Court, Soulsbyville, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize after an arrest on the 14600 block of Mono Way.

3:55 p.m., Sonora — Christopher Wade Phillips, 42, transient, was booked on suspicion of second degree burglary and criminal conspiracy after an arrest on the 100 block of Washington Street.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:49 a.m., Copperopolis — A vehicle was damaged during an attempted gas theft on Main Street.

12:29 p.m., San Andreas — People argued about a vehicle accident on Market Street.

4:13 p.m., Arnold — A door was damaged at a Highway 4 property and items were taken.

10:26 p.m., Murphys — Items were thrown into a Brice Station Road yard.
