The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:15 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — An elderly man on crutches yelled and screamed on Yaney Avenue for over 45 minutes.

12:34 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man in front of a Mono Way fast-food restaurant yelled at people as they walked by.

1:58 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man slept under a table at a Mono Way business.

2:05 p.m., assault — A man pulled out of the driveway of a Mono Way restaurant and another man spit on him.

3:13 p.m., threats — A person on South Washington Street inadvertently sent faxes to a business phone number in Sonora, and a person at the business made threats against the person.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

3:37 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman in a nightgown and slippers was inside of a broken down Ford on Yosemite Road and made strange statements such as the gravitational pull was pulling her truck toward the trees.

10:55 a.m., Tuolumne — A man at a Pine Street cafe required a welfare check from deputies after he said he wanted to check himself into rehab.

11:51 a.m., Jamestown — A Tulloch Road resident had an ongoing issue with people dumping large amounts of trash on his property.

8:13 p.m., Groveland — A Yosemite Road resident was hit by her roommate with a closed fist after the roommate threw a picture at her.

11:02 p.m., Sonora — The ex-girlfriend of a Kincaid Flat resident showed up to his residence and an argument ensued.

12:25 a.m., Sonora — Ellison Allen Burns, 56, of the 10300 block of Dexter Lane, Coulterville, was booked following an arrest on Sanguinetti Road.

1:35 a.m., Tuolumne — Anthony Robert Acevedo, 31, transient, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft, receiving known stolen property, possession of ammunition while prohibited and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance, possession of narcotic controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on Tuolumne Road North.

2:43 a.m., Sonora — David John Thomas, 58, of the 10900 block of Green Street, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon following an arrest at his home.

10:41 p.m., Sonora — Paul Allen Graham, 34, of the 20800 block of Skyview Drive, was booked on suspicion of grand theft and misdemeanor charges receiving known stolen property following an arrest at his home.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

2:26 a.m., Arnold — A person attempted to steal a vehicle on Blue Lake Springs Drive.

7:27 a.m., Dorrington — A residential alarm sounded on Choctaw Drive.

4:31 p.m., San Andreas — An arrest was made on a local warrant on Jeff Tuttle Drive.

8:03 p.m., Mountain Ranch — People were involved in an argument over a parking spot on Garabaldi Street.

12:30 a.m., Copperopolis — Sara Alisa Waldman, 37, of the 22600 block of Sawmill Flat Road, Sonora, was booked following an arrest on the 3400 block of Arrowhead Drive.

9:20 a.m., Wallace — Jordan A. Spellman, 25, of the 1600 block of Fairway Oaks Court, Ripon, was booked following an arrest on Highway 12.

12:00 p.m., Valley Springs — Xiu Lin Huang, 57, of the 8100 block of Valley Green Drive, Sacramento, was booked on suspicion of keeping a place to sell a controlled substance and felony marijuana cultivation following an arrest on the 6100 block of Highway 26.
