The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

5:13 a.m., trespass/loiter — A man returned to a Sanguinetti Road business and caused a disturbance after loitering inside the business hours earlier.

8:19 a.m., hazardous situation — A white pickup truck stopped in the passing lane of Greenley Road and the driver briefly left the area.

10:45 a.m., any civil problem — A Mono Way business owner found illegally dumped trash in his garbage bin.

2:35 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person dumped 200 nails into a Greenley Road parking spot some time in the morning.

6:08 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A young woman fell asleep inside the cafe of a Sanguinetti Road business and did not respond to staff when they tried to talk to her.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:38 a.m., Twain Harte — A Tiffeni Drive resident asked that a deputy respond to her home because her 16-year-old daughter refused to go to school.

2:08 p.m., Sonora — A Jenness Road resident heard beeps over two days and didn’t believe them to be a septic alarm, but when he investigated the sound in a nearby area, he wasn’t able to hear it any more.

3:26 p.m., Jamestown — A Park Avenue resident heard several booms.

8:55 p.m., Groveland — A person near an elementary school on Highway 120 heard a vehicle playing loud music.

10:45 p.m., Jamestown — An employee of a Jamestown Road car wash said someone broke into coin boxes and vacuums.

11:02 p.m., Twain Harte — A vehicle was partially broken down on Tuolumne Road North.

WEDNESDAY

3:50 p.m., Sonora — Polenisia Peau, 47, of the first block of Lower Sunset Drive, was booked after an arrest on Mono Way.

WEDNESDAY

2:04 p.m., Sonora — Hector Joe Trevino III, 42, of the 19600 block of Serrano Road, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury after an arrest at his home.

1:43 a.m., Jamestown — Narrie Alfaro, 45, of the 21500 block of American River Drive, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of vandalism, criminal conspiracy, receiving a stolen vehicle, vehicle theft, attempted grand theft and misdemeanor charges possession of burglary tools after an arrest on Ninth Avenue.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

3:22 a.m., Mountain Ranch — A person in a truck loitered in a Garibaldi Street parking lot and didn't leave when asked.

8:58 a.m., Valley Springs — A mailbox was vandalized on Westhill Road.

10 a.m., San Andreas — People argued on West Saint Charles Street.

5:22 p.m., West Point — A parent and child on Patricia Way argued over a cell phone.

6:08 p.m., San Andreas — A person on Main Street saw a man and woman she believed were breaking into a building, but the people had permission to be there.

10:36 p.m., Copperopolis — A possibly intoxicated woman screamed on Arrowhead Street.

1:25 p.m., Valley Springs — Wenhai Yang, 52, of the 8400 block of Baldwin Street, was booked on suspicion of keeping a place to sell a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy and misdemeanor charges cultivating marijuana after an arrest at his home.

1:25 p.m., Valley Springs — Xiugin Yang, 52, of the 8400 block of Baldwin Street, was booked on suspicion of keeping a place to sell a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy and misdemeanor charges cultivating marijuana after an arrest at his home.

3:30 p.m., San Andreas — Brittnee Marie Casey, 28, of the 4500 block of Jewell Court, Wilseyville, was booked on suspicion of felony probation violation after an arrest on the first block of East Saint Charles Street.
