TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:42 a.m., miscellaneous codes — A Mono Way business owner said a person illegally dumped garbage on his property.

10:56 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person was seen using a metal object to pry open a window at a South Washington Street house.

3:06 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Two transient men yelled at each other near bushes behind a South Washington Street business.

3:14 p.m., vandalism, property damage — The owner of a green Mercury was told by another person that someone in a maroon Mustang had slashed his rear driver’s-side tire.

4:52 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — After a woman honked at a driver on Sanguinetti Road, another woman “came out of nowhere” and hit and kicked her vehicle. A resulting argument led to one woman spitting on the other, and that woman retaliating by hitting the spitter in the face.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

10:18 a.m., Sonora — Money was stolen from a juvenile’s wallet and a vehicle was damaged while a person was in a Mono Way business.

11:59 a.m., Sonora — A motorist on Longeway Road crashed a vehicle into a tree.

1:43 p.m., Sonora — A person found three checks from three different banks written to three different people in a trash can.

7:30 p.m., Columbia — Someone threw rocks at a Bennett Road resident’s window and, the next night, flashlights were seen near the residence.

9:00 p.m., Jamestown — A person went to a Ninth Street residence and kicked in the door.

WEDNESDAY

12:12 a.m., Tuolumne — A Mi Wuk Street resident was irritated that a person was inside the house smoking marijuana.

12:55 p.m., Columbia — A Parrotts Ferry Road resident said he was threatened by his ex-wife in Indiana who he said called people in Tuolumne County to kill him.

3:54 p.m., Twain Harte — Medication was stolen from a Cedar Springs Road property.

7:54 p.m., Jamestown — A Seco Street resident saw a person on nearby train tracks for over an hour.

10:51 p.m., Groveland — A man walked down Highway 120 swinging a bat.

TUESDAY

12:52 p.m., Sonora — Keith Allen McDonald, 63, of Phoenix Lake Road, was booked after an arrest on Longeway Road.

3:24 p.m., Sonora — Danny Rya Stovall, 43, of the 300 block of Fairview Lane, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges driving while license suspended for DUI after an arrest on Stockton Road.

8:58 p.m., Sonora — Afa Shahree Olguin, 48, of the 21500 block of Phoenix Lake Road, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger after an arrest on Phoenix Lake Road.

WEDNESDAY

10:40 a.m., Sonora — Juan Martin Larez, 52, of the 9300 block of Highway 49, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of violation of post-release community supervision after an arrest on North Sunset Drive.

1:29 p.m., Sonora — Catherine Yvonne Park, 62, of Sonora, was booked on suspicion of arson after an arrest on the 22100 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

3:29 p.m., Sonora — Carlos Rene Canez, 28, transient, was booked on suspicion of vandalism after an arrest on the 500 block of Stockton Road.

7:03 p.m., Sonora — Carl Andrew Greenway, 31, of the 20200 block of Sparrow Lane, was booked on suspicion of felony probation violation, resisting an executive officer, attempting to remove a firearm from a peace officer, elder crimes and misdemeanor charges injuring a wireless communication device after an arrest on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:10 a.m., San Andreas — People walked through a Highway 12 yard with flashlights and dogs.

6:49 a.m., San Andreas — A suspicious person carried a large bag on California Street.

12:17 p.m., Arnold — Credit cards from a wallet stolen on Oak Circle were used.
