The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

SUNDAY

10:34 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on West Church Street received a scam phone call from someone who claimed to have an arrest warrant for the person unless money was sent immediately.

2:36 p.m., animal complaints — A border collie either got out of its collar or fell out of the back of a truck in the area of North Washington Street or Highway 108.

4:59 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An Alpine Lane resident was told by a neighbor that someone may have been inside his home while he was away.

7:51 p.m., theft — Several people attempted to steal items from an Old Wards Ferry Road business and fled through an opening in a fence.

10:53 p.m., theft — Christmas decorations were stolen from a Morning Star Drive residence.

MONDAY

8:21 a.m., school assists — A student left a North Washington Street school without permission. Two lighters were found when he was searched upon his return.

12:16 p.m., theft — A woman stole two stuffed animals and a man stole a bag of items from a Mono Way business.

12:17 p.m., fraudulent activities — A photographer at a South Washington Street business said someone had used a photo he displayed downtown to make postcards without his permission.

3:40 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man motioned for a juvenile girl to approach his vehicle while she was waiting at a Snell Street bus stop.

7:16 p.m., hazardous situation — A large amount of water drained out of a manhole cover on North Washington Street.

7:33 p.m., theft — A person stole an oversized teddy bear from a Mono Way business.

5:49 a.m., Jamestown — A Preston Lane resident threw pennies at doors and yelled in a hallway.

4:23 p.m., Sonora — A Kelley Ranch Road resident suffered a laceration on his arm after a neighbor hit him with a golf club.

7:03 p.m., Tuolumne — A person heard a woman screaming and then a gunshot on Yosemite Road.

7:44 p.m., Jamestown — A man on Wigwam Road attempted to order a pizza through dispatch.

11:12 p.m., Big Oak Flat —A Highway 120 resident said his neighbors were throwing things and being extremely loud.

8:52 a.m., Groveland — A person at a Main Street business said a man watched pornography on a laptop in his vehicle outside the business every morning.

10:05 a.m., Sonora — An elderly woman was found in a pool of blood at a Hess Avenue apartment.

2:17 p.m., Jamestown — Three girls and a car full of boys came to a Preston Lane apartment and claimed they were going to beat up the resident’s son with baseball bats and brass knuckles because the son was harassing them.

2:54 p.m., Sonora — A 16-foot airblown Santa was stolen from a home on Phoenix Lake Road.

5:27 p.m., Jamestown — A man exposed himself and threatened to lock a woman in a laundry room and sexually assault her at a Preston Lane apartment complex. He was arrested.

6:29 p.m., Sonora — Juan Martin Larez, 52, of the 9300 block of Highway 49, was booked on suspicion of felony probation violation and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia after an arrest on the 9200 block of Highway 49.

6:31 p.m., Jamestown — Raymond George Wine, 38, of the 11000 block of Preston Lane, was booked on suspicion of rape by force, attempting to commit a state specific crime and misdemeanor charges sexual battery after an arrest on the 10300 block of Preston Lane.

10:16 p.m., Sonora — Aaron Eugene Jolley, 32, of the 21500 block of Montgomery Road, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize, damaging a telephone and misdemeanor charges delaying a peace officer after an arrest at his home.

10:24 a.m., Burson — A Siblings Lane resident reported an ongoing issue with smoking, littering and erratic driving in the area.

1:36 p.m., Valley Springs — A Laurel Street church was vandalized.

2:39 p.m., Angels Camp — Two vehicles parked on an Appaloosa Road property.

3:20 p.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle was left in the middle of a Baldwin Road driveway.

5:26 p.m., Valley Springs — Noises came from an unoccupied Baldwin Street residence.

6:47 a.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle with a ladder on top drove through the area of Silver Rapids Road.

8:51 a.m., Copperopolis — Window screens were cut at a Rock Creek Road property.

10:05 a.m., Valley Springs — Barde Road residents were involved in an argument over a dog.

11:21 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone cut the fuel lines to multiple trucks on Main Street and fuel was stolen.

3:44 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Rocks and minerals were stolen from a Gaston Hill Road property.
