The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:03 a.m., domestic violence — A man and woman argued in front of a Sanguinetti Road business. During the dispute, the woman slapped the man and he slapped her in the back.

8:11 a.m., trespass/loiter — A man unplugged a soda machine on Hospital Road to charge his phone.

10:47 a.m., theft — A person cut the lock on a battery cage at a Sanguinetti Road business and stole all the used batteries.

12:34 p.m., driving under the influence — A man in a cowboy hat and with strong body odor stumbled and fell inside an Old Wards Ferry Road business. He later left the area in his vehicle.

1:22 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A broken cash register was seen on train tracks near Hospital Road.

2:33 p.m., animal complaints — A dog fell out of the back a vehicle by a Sanguinetti Road business and the driver ran the dog over.

3:07 p.m., theft — A cellphone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on South Stewart Street.

2:04 p.m., Paloma — A person acted strangely in front of a fishing area on Gwin Mine Road.

8:30 a.m., San Andreas — Nicholas Joseph Frazier, 34, of San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of felony probation violation and violation of the terms of his post-release supervision after an arrest on the 300 block of Pixley Avenue.

2 p.m., Glencoe — Valentin Cisneros, 45, of the 200 block of Three Cent Flat Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of ammunition while prohibited, bringing a weapon into prison and misdemeanor charges driving with a suspended license, failure to appear at a court hearing, retaking land after a legal removal and being under the influence of a controlled substance after an arrest at his home.
