The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

4:47 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person jogging at a North Washington Street track was concerned about a man on a bike riding back and forth on the top of the stairs, but he was just jogging.

8:34 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person vomited on a person’s car that was parked in front of a Sanguinetti Road business.

1:01 p.m., parking — A West Sunset Street woman said she had difficulty pulling out of her driveway because of people parking their vehicles too close.

5:09 p.m., domestic disputes — An Elm Street resident was hit by her two daughters during an argument.

6:42 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man driving a vehicle on Greenley Road said he had robbed and killed someone last night and threatened to kill another person.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:05 a.m., Sonora — A vehicle parked in front of a Mono Way business was broken into during the night.

11:59 a.m., Sonora — A person in the lobby of a Hospital Road business screamed and made threats to staff.

12:33 p.m., Sonora — A vehicle someone purchased from a Mono Way business had blood stains on the inside, and the person was concerned that it may have been involved in a violent crime.

1:55 p.m., Sonora — A Belleview Road resident burned wet leaves and created too much smoke.

8:41 p.m., Columbia — A person set off an alarm at a Parrotts Ferry Road school.

12:25 a.m., Valley Springs — A noise complaint was issued for a Sequoia Avenue residence.

4:01 a.m., Valley Springs — A man on a bicycle went through mailboxes on Heney Lane.

5:32 p.m., San Andreas — A traffic stop was initiated on West Saint Charles Street.

3:48 a.m., Sheep Ranch — Nicholas Stone Bell, 19, of the 2500 block of Sierra Oaks Drive, Mountain Ranch, was booked on suspicion of evading police officers with wanton disregard for safety after an arrest on the 10100 block of Cave City Road.

11:20 a.m., Valley Springs — Jimmy James King, 27, of the 200 block of Myrtle Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, felony parole violation and misdemeanor charges being under the influence of a controlled substance after an arrest at his home.

4:40 p.m., Hathaway Pines — William Albert Heiser, 43, of the 5000 block of Glen Echo Drive, was booked on suspicion of sending or possessing obscene matter, providing harmful matter to a minor, giving a minor a controlled substance and possession of ammunition while prohibited after an arrest at his home.
