TUESDAY

1:23 a.m., public peace, fight disorderly conduct — A South Barretta Street resident cut off a chunk of a roommate’s hair while she prepared dinner.

10:01 a.m., assault — Someone punched a man in the back of the head in front of a Sanguinetti Road business, threw hot coffee on him, and then hit him with a car.

11:21 a.m., animal complaints — A person on Morning Star Drive saw what they believed to be a mountain lion.

2:29 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man with a boombox in front of a Sanguinetti road business sang loudly and may have been drinking alcohol.

4:38 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman threw apples at a person at a Mono Way business and then stole three bags of apples.

5:02 p.m., controlled substances — A person on South Stewart Street found a hypodermic needle on the sidewalk.

8:24 a.m., Mi Wuk Village — A man who may have had a knife slept in a bus stop shelter used by children waiting for the bus.

10:56 a.m., Soulsbyville — A mountain lion was spotted by a Soulsbyville Road school and was scared by a homeowner’s dog.

1:08 p.m., Jamestown — A person cleaning a Main Street apartment found a 5-gallon bucket full of used needles.

3:21 p.m., Jamestown — A person drilled a lock on the coin box of a car wash bay at a Jamestown Road business.

5:43 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Creekside Drive accused a juvenile of stealing 1 pound of marijuana she left on the sidewalk.

11:29 a.m., Copperopolis — An unknown person looked into mailboxes on Cheyenne Road.

11:44 a.m., Railroad Flat — Packages were stolen from a Doe Road porch.

4:58 p.m., Valley Springs — A confrontation ensued between a man riding a horse and a person in a business area on Highway 26.

10:55 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A family disagreement on Creations Way caused a disturbance.
