The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:53 a.m., lost, found property — A black purse was found on South Stewart Street.

2:07 p.m., theft — A person attempted to steal a cart full of merchandise from a Sanguinetti Road business and fled to the backseat of a vehicle after being confronted by a store employee.

2:59 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Three or four men were involved in a fight outside of a West Jackson Street property.

5:44 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man entered a Mono Way business with a full face mask, and the owner said he may have been the person responsible for other crimes in the county.

10:23 p.m., unclassified — Two women put plants in the middle of the road near South Washington and Theall streets for a memorial.

THURSDAY

11:52 a.m., trespass/loiter — A woman in a purple floral dress caused a scene at a South Washington Street business.

12:32 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man at a South Washington Street business threatened to harm a fellow employee.

7:27 p.m., burglary — Computer products were stolen from a Sanguinetti Road business.

9:32 p.m., burglary — A person forced entry through an East Jackson Street business and took an item.

FRIDAY

11:03 a.m., trespass/loiter — A woman slept behind a South Washington Street business and refused to leave.

1:37 p.m., miscellaneous codes — A transient woman asked for money and rides outside a South Washington Street business and caused a disturbance.

3:14 p.m., miscellaneous codes — A red Dodge diesel truck driving on Restano Way let off a large amount of smoke.

3:50 p.m., vandalism, property damage — Someone cut a chain link fence on Morning Star Drive.

9 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A Sanguinetti Road business employee found a suspicious note left by a child at the dinner table after the family had left, but the note was determined to be a joke.

9:41 a.m., Sonora — Two men aimed guns at a flock of turkeys on Draper Mine Road.

12:47 p.m., Sonora — Three women ordered beer and chips at a Mono Way restaurant but left without paying.

2:31 p.m., Columbia — A woman vandalized a vehicle parked on Columbia College Drive.

7:44 p.m., Jamestown — A man attempted to pry open a door at a Smoke Street business.

10:44 p.m., Sonora — A person harassed customers at a Mono Way business and asked for money.

THURSDAY

12:07 a.m., Sonora — Three transients cussed at employees at a Mono Way business and refused to leave.

2:36 p.m., Twain Harte — A person driving on South Fork Road saw a passenger in another vehicle holding a rifle.

4:50 p.m., Columbia — Five-year-old children yelled at a man as he walked down Sawmill Flat Road.

9:34 p.m., Groveland — A person on Hells Hollow Road called for help after seeing spirits and feeling delusional.

6:20 a.m., Columbia — A drunk man at a Parrotts Ferry Road residence said he needed an ambulance but wasn’t ready to go to the hospital yet because he was naked.

8:09 p.m., Columbia — A man was locked inside a gate on Gunsight Road West.

9:13 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Highway 108 saw someone smoking a substance.

9:41 p.m., Sonora — A person on Mono Way and Sullivan Creek Road requested that someone pick up a dead deer on a bridge.
