The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

9:38 a.m., lost, found property — A bicycle was left in front of a Stockton Road business and retrieved by a police officer.

2:20 p.m., public intoxication — An irate customer yelled and used foul language in a Sanguinetti Road business and smashed a bottle out on the street. The man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct on Mono Way.

2:44 p.m., threats — A customer at a Mono Way business said someone was trying to kill him.

3:55 p.m., any civil problem — A person on McCormick Drive continually parked in front of his neighbor's house and obscured her view when she was exiting her home in a vehicle.

4:42 p.m., public intoxication — A man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after passing out at a South Green Street bar.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:09 a.m., Soulsbyville — Someone threw pebbles and banged on the window of a Willow Springs Drive residence.

7:45 a.m., Jamestown — A person used a sledgehammer to break the locks on the tool bins on a barge at a Jacksonville Road marina.

12:50 p.m., Sonora — A man yelled at people walking by him on Mono Way and also smoked something from a pipe.

1:57 p.m., Sonora — A group of people offering free house cleaning on Pine Street made a local resident uncomfortable.

9:20 p.m., Jamestown — A man loitered by a cooler in front of a Victoria Place business and mumbled, “As sure as I breathe, I’m going to be in a whole heap of trouble soon.”

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

4:37 a.m., Angels Camp — A flashing light was seen at a lake near Highway 49.

9:39 a.m., Mountain Ranch — Debris was dumped on the side of Potteroffs Road and Jesus Maria Road.

4:43 p.m., Valley Springs — A person at a Cane Lane residence heard noises as if someone was on their porch.

7:57 p.m., Arnold — A person on Summit View Road heard a loud boom that they believed was a shotgun firing.
