TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

11:01 a.m., theft — Alcohol was stolen from a Stockton Road business.

11:03 a.m., theft — A man went through the self-check of a Sanguinetti Road business but did not pay for some of the merchandise.

12:53 p.m., assault — A fight between at least three people was seen on North Stewart Street. Witnesses said a woman hit people with a stick and a man was bleeding from the neck.

4:25 p.m., controlled substances — A man inside a vehicle parked in a Stockton Road lot looked through a “whole bowl” of marijuana.

6:45 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man in a wheelchair in front of a Sanguinetti Road business was intoxicated and fell out of his chair.

9:33 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man told a woman on North Stewart Street to “leave” and hit her door repeatedly.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

1:20 a.m., Sonora — A woman left a Mono Way business and was followed by a man in a white sedan who said he had something to show her.

6:13 a.m., Jamestown — A man said a property neighboring his Highway 108 home was supposed to be vacant but he saw two vehicles on the property.

9 a.m., Columbia — A man said two dead trees leaning toward Parrotts Ferry Road need to be removed before they became a hazardous situation.

1:37 p.m., Sonora — A man on Longeway Road saw a woman with a baby being chased by a man on the side of the road.

5:36 p.m., Sonora — A South Sunshine Road resident said her neighbor was high on something because he repeatedly went to her grandmother’s house to say someone was in the bushes, and then used a walking stick to tear up the ground around the bushes where he thought the person was.

8:04 a.m., Sonora — Fabian Ramirez, 30, of the first block of Elm Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, keeping a place to sell a narcotic controlled substance, possession of ammunition while prohibited and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia after an arrest at his home.

12:46 p.m., Sonora — Garrett Rich Kitchen, 32, transient, was booked on suspicion of attempted robbery and inflicting corporal injury after an arrest on Sanguinetti Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:13 a.m., Valley Springs — An unknown vehicle was parked in the area of Bothfur Ranch Road.

4:21 p.m., Murphys — A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on South Algiers Street.

5:02 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A piece of mail at a China Gulch Road property had a tear in the envelope.

8:56 p.m., Paloma — People were involved in an argument on Messinger Flat Road and a golf club was somehow involved.

11:52 p.m., Valley Springs — Juveniles on Highway 12 played ball inside of a house.

7:15 p.m., San Andreas — Brandon Tyler Stevenson, 19, of the 1300 block of Highway 4, Arnold, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and false imprisonment with violence after an arrest on the 500 block of Lewis Avenue.
