The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

9:19 a.m., animal complaints — A woman on Mono Way reported her dog missing five days ago with animal control, but took pictures of a transient man who appeared to be with a dog matching her dog’s description.

12:29 p.m., traffic accidents — The loading door on a vendor truck hit several vehicles on South Washington Street.

12:54 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A vehicle in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot was keyed sometime in the past week.

1:59 p.m., reckless driving — A man drove slowly exiting off the bypass onto Mono Way and then slammed on his brakes in the middle of the road and almost caused a collision.

4:56 p.m., animal complaints — A South Barretta Street resident believed his neighbor’s dog was malnourished after seeing it covered in bald patches, but the dog was just suffering from flea issues.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

2:12 a.m., Soulsbyville — A person at a Mono Vista Road South business heard metal clanking and wrenches hitting the ground and believed people were breaking into storage sheds.

7:26 a.m., Tuolumne — A plastic bag with meth possibly inside was found at a Tuolumne Road North business.

9:21 a.m., Sonora — An Oxbow Lane North resident said a veterinarian found a bullet in his cat after the cat’s death.

2:13 p.m., Jamestown — A person was repossessing a vehicle on Highway 108 and the vehicle owner threatened him by pointing a gun at him and refusing to lower the weapon until the vehicle was off the tow truck.

11:20 p.m., Sonora — A Ridgeview Drive resident heard noises outside her home and believed they were footsteps.

1:25 a.m., Sonora — Christopher Michael Clark, 41, of the 10200 block of Preston Lane, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of attempting to dissuade a victim and misdemeanor charges violating a court order to prevent domestic violence after an arrest on Yaney Avenue.

8 a.m., Sonora — Dustin Robert Stevens, 29, of the 8500 block of Wilcox Ranch Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, committing a felony while out on bail, keeping a place to sell a narcotic controlled substance and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia after an arrest at his home.

8:43 p.m., Twain Harte — Mark James Hyder, 24, of the 22400 block of Scenic Drive, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize and felony probation violation after an arrest at his home.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

11:33 a.m., Jenny Lind — A claim that jewelry was stolen from a Southworth Road property was determined to be unfounded.

5:13 p.m., Valley Springs — A woman tripped while carrying groceries on Sequoia Avenue.

11:21 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A white van drove back and forth in the area of Garabaldi Street while the occupants looked for a place to rest.

4:47 p.m., Valley Springs — Adam Lee Hagerman, 55, of the 3800 block of Bartelink Drive, was booked after an arrest on the 100 block of Main Street.
