The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:36 p.m., reckless driving — A vehicle ran a stop sign in front of a Mono Way business and drove recklessly.

3:46 p.m., theft — A necklace was stolen from a Lyons Bald Mountain Road apartment complex.

3:50 p.m., theft — Two boys stole a salad from a South Washington Street business, and when they were confronted by an employee they threw the salad at him.

4:30 p.m., vandalism, property damage — Vehicles on Stockton Road were keyed, and an airbag system was stolen from one and a computer taken out of another.

9:14 p.m., public intoxication — A group of intoxicated people drank alcohol near a vehicle parked on Symons Lane.

SATURDAY

12:06 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man caused a disturbance in front of a South Washington Street business when he panhandled for cab fare.

12:32 p.m., hazardous situation — A person in the area of South Washington Street and Bradford Avenue threw eggs at passing vehicles.

1:39 p.m., miscellaneous codes — A woman and her young daughter panhandled in front of a Sanguinetti Road business.

5:39 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man walked into a Hospital Road home and, when the resident asked him to leave, the man left the house, pulled down his pants, and exposed himself.

3:40 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Guests at a McGowan Street party urinated off the back deck into a neighbor’s yard.

10:05 a.m., any civil problem — A person was threatened by her ex-boyfriend in front of a South Green Street business.

4:26 p.m., lost, found property — Someone saw a phone slide off the top of a red truck as it went down North Washington Street.

6:45 p.m., controlled substances — A man inside a Pesce Way store was “freaking out” and may have been under the influence of drugs.

10:34 a.m., Twain Harte — A person on Manny Marshall Drive said his phone lines had been hacked and he was running a test to make sure the phone worked.

10:45 a.m., Sonora — Someone dumped personal items in the trash can of a Striker Court property.

4:37 p.m., Sonora — Three juveniles threw glass bottles in the middle of Racetrack Road.

5 p.m., Sonora — People were involved in a fight on Lyons Bald Mountain Road, and one of the parties attempted to hit the other person with a rock and a fire extinguisher.

8:05 p.m., Sonora — A Navy ring and gold were missing from a Kewin Mill Road residence.

8:23 p.m., Columbia — Several people with flashlights ducked down in the grass at a campground near the airstrip on Airport Road.

12:09 p.m., Tuolumne — A man and woman were passed out on a bench in front of a Carter Street business.

1:23 p.m., Columbia — Numerous items were stolen from a miner’s claim on Italian Bar Road.

2:47 p.m., Strawberry — Two men with a dog that had “beady eyes” hung out near a resort on Highway 108 and asked questions about a tractor, two large generators and the people staying there.

5:30 p.m., Sonora — A man on Mono Way hit and yelled at a woman, then chased her saying he was going to kill her.

11:01 p.m., Jamestown — A drunk man was kicked out of a Highway 108 bar after sneaking into the business.

11:51 p.m., Jamestown — A Wigwam Road told a 911 operator he had been watching a scary movie, so he wanted to make a joke for them because he knew they were having a “boring night.”

7:30 a.m., Sonora — Two people in the area of Fern Lane yelled at each other until a gunshot sounded, and then everything was silent.

11:59 a.m., Jamestown — A person on Ninth Street made comments about wanting to swallow a steak knife to harm themselves.

2:57 p.m., Sonora — Someone sent a Buckhorn Mountain Road resident a text message in Spanish with three photos of a gun.

6:41 p.m., Sonora — A Cavalieri Road resident said someone was under her house.

7:08 p.m., Sonora — A group of girls on Lower Hillview Drive laughed on the phone and made statements such as “I think Dad is dead.”
