The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:25 p.m., vandalism, property damage — Someone broke into a Fairview Lane storage shed but the owner was not sure if anything had been taken.

2:22 p.m., any civil problem — A ladder fell on top of a vehicle parked on West Bradford Avenue.

3:21 p.m., animal complaints — A dark colored dog with a cone on its head ran around South Washington Street without an owner.

5:19 p.m., lost, found property — A mountain bike was found abandoned on South Shepherd Street.

5:35 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A drunk man yelled at customers at a Stockton Road business.

SATURDAY

8:30 a.m., animal complaints — A dead cat was found at the corner of South Washington Street and Restano Way.

12:28 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man in a white SUV appeared to be dumping waste into a creek near Woods Creek Drive.

12:53 p.m., miscellaneous harassment — A man on Mono Way believed he was being blackmailed by a woman on the internet after he sent pictures of himself to her.

5:08 p.m., reckless driving — A red Pontiac Solstice on Sanguinetti Road almost hit a lamppost and swerved over the double yellow lines.

6:40 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man passed out in a vehicle at a Pesce Way gas station and required transportation to his home even though he had not been driving under the influence.

SUNDAY

8:51 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A South Barretta Street resident trashed their apartment while the roommate watched.

2:13 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man banged on the back door to a South Washington Street business and appeared to be under the influence of something.

2:38 p.m., public intoxication — Two people helped a woman into the backseat of a car parked on Theall Street after she drank too much, but she was transported to a medical center after being unresponsive to emergency personnel.

7:56 p.m., traffic accidents — Two vehicles were involved in an accident in a Mono Way fast-food restaurant drive thru.

10:31 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone tried to force open the left side door to an Alpine Lane home.

THURSDAY

5:03 a.m., Jamestown — A group of men drove in the area of Ninth Street and knocked on a resident’s door to ask if a girl was home.

8:30 a.m., Groveland — A man who was sleeping in the woods near Highway 120 told a woman he was in town to kidnap his son from his stepfather.

8:59 p.m., Sonora — A person on Midland Drive found a cell phone that may have been associated with bundles of newspapers that been thrown around the area.

2:49 p.m., Sonora — A person on Rugged Trail believed someone had fraudulently made off with $12,000 of his social security money.

6:24 p.m., patrol check — A person on Highway 49 burned marijuana by-products and a neighbor thought it was “stinking up the area.”

11:24 p.m., Columbia — Someone broke into a South Airport Road residence and began stealing things.

FRIDAY

7:01 a.m., Sonora — A person left a dead chicken on the porch of a Bay Meadow Drive residence.

5:34 p.m., Columbia — A driver did circles in the cul de sac of a Becky River Lane neighborhood.

6:21 p.m., Columbia — Medication was stolen from a locked container on Big Hill Road.

11:09 p.m., Mi Wuk Village — A Tuyu Court resident came home to find his backdoor open and believed someone may have been inside.

SATURDAY

6:44 a.m., La Grange — A Navarro Street resident was concerned that a group of cows may have been in distress as they had been mooing all night long, and speculated that one of them may be in labor.

1:18 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on Victoria Place was worried about a woman whose “demeanor was escalating” following an argument over whether a vehicle door had hit her car.

3:19 p.m., Sonora — A security guard filmed a woman flipping him off out front of a Mono Way business.

3:44 p.m., Sonora — Over the past three weeks, jack-o-lanterns had been stolen and pumpkin seeds were left in a mailbox on Geraldine Circle.

11:29 p.m., Tuolumne — A white crystalline substance was found at a Tuolumne Road North business.

SUNDAY

12:30 a.m., Sonora — A deer with a feed sack over its head was stuck under a Tinnin Road residence.

10:02 a.m., Sonora — Three unknown subjects cut up a deck at a vacant house on Valley Oak Drive where drugs had reportedly been used.

3:22 p.m., Soulsbyville — A child on the phone at a Willow Springs Drive West residence asked dispatch what time it was and what county the person was in before ordering a slice of pizza.

3:55 p.m., La Grange — A woman at a Highway 132 market was threatened by her ex-boyfriend from 20 years ago.

5:52 p.m., Groveland — A Cherry Lake Road resident heard about 20 rounds fired over a few minutes.

11:07 p.m., Sonora — Kelli Elizabeth Keefe, 24, of the 700 block of College Drive, Incline Village, Nevada, was booked following an arrest on Tuolumne Road.

3:20 p.m., Sonora — Preston Wade Hoffman, 31, of the first block of Obsidian Drive, Oakdale, was booked following an arrest on Phoenix Lake Road.

5:23 p.m., Sonora — Alice Elizabeth Tracy, 61, of the 18700 block of Highway 108, Jamestown, was booked following an arrest on Highway 49.

12:02 p.m., Murphys — A person yelled and threw rocks on the side of French Gulch Road.

5:44 p.m., Copperopolis — A vehicle blocked a gate on Morado Circle.

6:46 p.m., San Andreas — A person on Mountain Ranch Road stole medication from someone.

3:47 a.m., Murphys — A Highway 4 business received a fraudulent $100 bill.

6:58 a.m., Valley Springs — Shots were heard in the area of Cane Lane.

9:16 a.m., Valley Springs — A wig or hair extension was found in the area of New Hogan Parkway.

10:39 a.m., Angels Camp — A purse was stolen from an unlocked truck on Highway 49 during the night.

1:46 p.m., Valley Springs — A damaged boat on a trailer parked on Campbell Court appeared to be abandoned.

5:03 p.m., Wallace — A deputy contacted a man walking on side of Highway 12 who said he had run out of gasoline and was walking into town to get some.

5:52 p.m., Murphys — People on Six Mile Road hopped a fence, possibly to fish on the property.

5:58 p.m., Copperopolis — Roommates at a Reeds Turnpike residence needed to be separated after a disturbance.

6:34 p.m., Valley Springs — A boat filled trash seemed to be abandoned on a Eberhardt Lane property.

3:15 p.m., San Andreas — George Anthony Shuwoy, 24, of the 600 block of Tuolumne Avenue, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of violating the terms of his post-release supervision following an arrest on Jeff Tuttle Drive.

8:45 a.m., San Andreas — William Richard Denny, 52, of the 600 block of Mountain Ranch Road, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury following an arrest at his home.

11:30 p.m., San Andreas — Lance Edward Marquez, 38, of the first block of West Saint Charles Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of a narcotic controlled substance as a felon, and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and failure to appear after a written promise following an arrest at his home.

6:30 p.m., West Point — Raymond Alan Gideon, 36, of the 1200 block of Prussian Hill Road, Railroad Flat, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft and receiving known stolen property following an arrest on Highway 26.
