The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:26 a.m., animal complaints — A box with three puppies inside was abandoned on Stockton Road. An officer was unable to locate them.

12:09 p.m., hazardous situation — A manhole cover was missing in the road across from a Mono Way business and caused a traffic hazard.

1:24 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man with a cane yelled at person on Old Wards Ferry Road for no reason and stormed over to another business.

2:58 p.m., theft — A woman stole a pack of lighters from a Stockton Road business.

9:37 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A loud party filled with juveniles on Dossi Way played loud music.

10:31 p.m., hazardous situation — A tanker truck on Mono Way leaked fluid.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

5:45 a.m., Jamestown — A Tulloch Dam Road man said he received more threatening text messages from a woman who has been threatening him since 2012.

12:20 p.m., Columbia — A computer and a new toilet that was still in the box were stolen from a Green Street property.

5:54 p.m., Sonora — A Lower Hillview Drive resident was followed by another driver who yelled at her before turning away in another direction.

10:31 p.m., Sonora — A big rig driver was involved in road construction on Highway 108 and no detour signs were posted.

11:49 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman heard noises in the back of her residence and, when the motion lights came on, she saw two men in Raiders sweatshirts with hoses and gas cans running through her property.

3:16 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — People argued near Highway 49.

8:15 p.m., Wilseyville — A Lone Star Road resident reported a disturbance.
