The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

8:21 a.m., fire call — An employee of a school on Greenley Road met with a juvenile student who filmed herself lighting a trash can on fire on the school campus and then posted it to social media.

9:04 a.m., suspicious circumstances — People on Orchard Avenue said they heard a gunshot, but it was actually a blown transformer on a school campus.

8:06 p.m., traffic accidents — A yellow motorcycle crashed but did not hit any other vehicles or buildings, and then the driver got up off the ground and rode toward downtown.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:09 a.m., Jamestown — A Maple Alley resident was upset with a neighbor who had been piling trash at his house for seven months.

10:12 a.m., Jamestown — A Peppermint Circle resident found a “dope pipe” in their backyard.

11:48 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A Wuke Lane resident said a tree fell on a house in the area.

4:06 p.m., Columbia — Logs lining a Parrotts Ferry road property were disturbed and a sign was thrown.

4:24 p.m., Tuolumne — A person was “jumped” by two girls on Tuolumne Road after a high school football game.

8:42 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A wallet and a stun gun were stolen from a purse left inside a room at a Highway 108 inn while the owners were fishing.

9:14 a.m., Jamestown — Francisco Javier Hernandez, 30, of the first street of Preston Lane, was booked on suspicion of burglary, assault with a deadly weapon and stealing from an elder adult after an arrest on the 16700 block of Chicken Ranch Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

12:15 a.m., Campo Seco — A person on Campo Seco Road heard a person yell “Call 911.” Responding deputies found nothing.

7:27 a.m., San Andreas — A person on Highway 49 appeared to be loading a dead bear into a truck.

9:53 a.m., Valley Springs — Items were stolen from a boat near a campground on South Petersburg Road.

12:46 p.m., Copperopolis — Water was stolen from a Spangler Lane property.

4:56 p.m., San Andreas — Someone attempted to break in to a locked gate on Joses Road.

5:06 p.m., Campo Seco — A Campo Seco Road resident hit an electrical box with a hammer.
