The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

10:20 a.m., reckless driving — A female driver followed a male driver off Highway 108 onto South Washington Street and wove in and out of traffic and tailgated him.

10:24 a.m., animal complaints — A border collie wandered around a North Forest Road neighborhood for many days.

11:12 a.m., unclassified — A man spray painted black lines over parking lines on South Stewart Street.

5:09 p.m., welfare check — An 8-year-old child cried and walked alone along Mono Way.

8:23 p.m., weapons violations — A juvenile walked on North Green Street while carrying a pocket knife.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:41 a.m., Big Oak Flat — A Highway 120 resident said his neighbors slept in their cars and stayed up all night.

7:45 a.m., Sonora — A Lucky Strike Trail resident planned to butcher four pigs and wanted to report that gunfire would be heard in the area.

10:49 a.m., Groveland — A Second Garrotte Ridge Road resident heard over 100 gunshots in the area and smelled marijuana.

3:22 p.m., Sonora — A Belleview Creek Road resident requested advice regarding his neighbor flying a drone over his property.

8:11 p.m., Sonora — A Nashua Road resident returned home and found a kitchen light on and a doorstop moved and believed someone had been there.

9:16 p.m., Twain Harte — A person at a Scenic Drive residence broke things during a fight.

5:03 p.m., Sonora — Joshua Roy Perry, 32, of the 600 block of Shaws Flat Road, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and false imprisonment after an arrest at his home.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:35 a.m., Valley Springs — A rock throwing incident was reported on Rose Street.

1:30 p.m., San Andreas — A patient was unruly on Mountain Ranch Road.

7:29 p.m., Campo Seco — A woman on Buckboard Lane banged a gate open and shut.

10:02 p.m., San Andreas — A man searched for his lost dog on Sunset Street.

WEDNESDAY

10 p.m., Angels Camp — Jennifer Anne Stevens, 32, of the 200 block of North Pope Street, North Loup, Nebraska, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges child cruelty, resisting a peace officer and possession of a controlled substance after an arrest on Highway 4.
