The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

3:27 a.m., trespass/loiter — A woman at a South Washington building asked someone for food.

9:33 a.m., school assists — A student left a North Washington Street school campus and someone said the student may be involved in criminal activity.

3:16 p.m., hazardous situations — A large box was in the middle of Sanguinetti Road.

6:10 p.m., vandalism, property — A Columbia Way apartment was trashed, but the property owner chose not to press charges.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:05 a.m., Jamestown — A drunk man at a Highway 108 business told an employee that he was going to steal a tip jar.

9:35 a.m., Jamestown — A man begged people for money in front of a Main Street business.

12:57 p.m., Sonora — A Nissan Altima was stuck in the road near Cedar Road North and it appeared that the airbags had been deployed.

4:54 p.m., Columbia — The owner of a vehicle on Parrotts Ferry Road was angry with the passenger for leaving his car doors open when there was a loaded firearm on the seat.

6:32 p.m., Groveland — A person near Junipero Serra Court found a large pit full of bones while jogging in the area.

11:14 p.m., Columbia — A passport was stolen from a Columbia College Drive residence.

10:53 p.m., Valley Springs — The motor of an occupied vehicle ran behind a Vista Del Lago Drive business.

8:21 p.m., Mountain Ranch — James Leroy Kladt Jr., 52, of San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and misdemeanor probation violation after an arrest on Highway 4.

9:30 a.m., Railroad Flat — Somporn Vannasing, 51, of the 900 block of Nogales Street, Sacramento, was booked on suspicion of criminal conspiracy and misdemeanor charges cultivating marijuana after an arrest on the 400 block of Ridge Road.

9:30 a.m., Railroad Flat — Thongdee Phuangtan, 20, of the 3600 block of Bellinger Court, Sacramento, was booked on suspicion of criminal conspiracy, possession of a firearm while a felon, owning ammunition while prohibited and misdemeanor charges cultivating marijuana after an arrest on the 400 block of Ridge Road.

9:55 a.m., San Andreas — James Mario Nutt, 36, of the 300 block of Gold Strike Road, was booked on suspicion of violating the terms of his post releases supervision after an arrest on Jeff Tuttle Drive.

10 a.m., Ricardo Vasquez Moreno, 19, of the 500 block of South Herold Street, Lodi, was booked on suspicion of transporting a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale and misdemeanor charges shoplifting after an arrest on Jeff Tuttle Road.

8:40 p.m., Angels Camp — Jeremy Andrew Arvin, 43, of the 1200 block of Wimbledom Drive, San Andreas, was booke on suspicion of burglary, forgery and receiving credit with another person’s ID following an arrest on the 300 block of Murphys Grade Road.

8:41 p.m., Valley Springs — Nicholaus Michael Lopez, 23, of the 8600 block of Siegel Street, was booked on suspicion of stalking, inflicting corporal injury and threatening crime with the intent to terrorize following an arrest at his home.
