TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

7:21 a.m., suspicious circumstances — The backyard doors were opened to a locked home on Knowles Hill Road.

8:04 a.m., vandalism, property damage — Someone broke a door lock on the back storage room of a Stockton Road facility. Nothing appeared to be missing.

9:15 a.m., traffic accidents — A vehicle hit another vehicle on the rear bumper on Snell Street before speeding off.

2:13 p.m., theft — A bike was stolen from the front yard of a South Barretta Street home.

10:16 p.m., burglary — A man and woman burglarized 15 lockers at a North Washington Street school and then fled the area.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

2:31 a.m., Sonora — A man barricaded himself in a room at a Nile River Drive property and asked for drugs.

11:48 a.m., Jamestown — A loose cow was hit by a vehicle on Campo Seco Road.

4:50 p.m., Jamestown — Four loud shotgun blasts were heard in the Table Mountain Road area.

6:08 p.m., Sonora — A person saw someone that “looked like a tweaker” passing double-yellow lines and driving recklessly.

8:12 p.m., Jamestown — Two people near Tulloch Road launched a personal watercraft in the cove and rode around the lake. A person believed they were casing the area.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:39 a.m., Valley Springs — People were involved in a fight on Highway 26.

8:57 a.m., Valley Springs — Campers on New Hogan Parkway appeared to be intoxicated.

10:49 a.m., Arnold — A vehicle with an out-of-state license plate parked on Manzanita Drive for many days was missing a tire.

7:55 p.m., Avery — A residential alarm was tripped at a Moran Avenue home by a bear that rustled through the garbage.

7:46 p.m., Valley Springs — Jeffrey Breen, 41, of the 800 block of South Pleasant Avenue, Lodi, was booked after an arrest on Highway 12.

2:50 p.m., San Andreas — Nicholas Joseph Frazier, 35, of San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of bringing a controlled substance into jail and violating the terms of his post-release supervision after an arrest on the first block of West Saint Charles Street.
