The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

11:06 a.m., unclassified — Two Walmart shopping carts were left near fuel pumps on Hospital Road.

12:49 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man looked through marked vehicles on East Jackson Street.

2:55 p.m., theft — A whiskey barrel, a decanter and Ray-Ban sunglasses were stolen from a West Bradford Avenue property.

9:24 p.m., controlled substances — A man smoked heroin in a Pesce Way bathroom.

9:29 p.m., trespass/loiter — A group of people loitered in front of a Sanguinetti Road property.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

12:35 p.m., Twain Harte — Loud music came from a Mount Elizabeth Drive property.

2:03 p.m., Sonora — Two women dumped trash and a couch on the side on Longeway Road.

2:40 p.m., Sonora — A green sports backpack was stolen from a church on Bergel Road.

6:50 p.m., Sonora —A woman on Barron Ranch Road walked near her deck, a chair and a tree while holding a metal pipe.

3:08 p.m., Sonora — Mary Marjorie Welsh, 64, of the 500 block of Barretta Street, was booked after an arrest on Barretta Street.

2:58 a.m., Jamestown — Thomas Paul Alvarado, 36, of the 2800 block of Levon Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of false impersonation of another, possessing a driver’s license to commit forgery, forgery of a credit card and unlawful use of personal identifying information, and misdemeanor charges possessing a deceptive government identification, giving false identification to a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia after an arrest on Chicken Ranch Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

12:31 a.m., West Point — Shots were heard in the Bald Mountain Road area.

6:09 a.m., Valley Springs — Items were stolen from a Laurel Street yard.

9:18 a.m., West Point — A caller said person is living under a bridge on Highway 26.

11:31 a.m., Valley Springs — A person sat in a vehicle on Nove Way and smoked something.

1:32 p.m., Valley Springs — A man juggled a knife on Vista Del Lago Drive.

9:23 a.m., Valley Springs — Bryan Louis Sims, 60, of the 8600 block of Goggin Street, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize, battery with serious bodily injury and elder abuse after an arrest at his home.

12:20 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Roland Ted Retherford, 58, of the 9800 block of Cave City Road, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after an arrest at his home.

6:14 p.m., Murphys — Andrea Noelani Sky, 48, of the 3800 block of Pennsylvania Gulch Road, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and misdemeanor charges driving under the influence after an arrest on Pennsylvania Gulch Road.

11:16 p.m., Arnold — Richard Allen Andersen, 52, of the 1000 block of Manuel Road, was booked on suspicion of violating the terms of his post-release supervision, and misdemeanor charges being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance after an arrest on Pine Drive.
