The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

5:48 a.m., trespass/loiter — A man slept on a West Bradford Avenue bench with a blanket draped over him.

11:27 a.m., parking — A dirty RV was parked on North Stewart Street for several weeks.

1:28 p.m., parking citation — A vehicle was ticketed for backing into a stall at a South Stewart Street business.

3:44 p.m., animal complaints — A dog panted hard in front of his water bowl on South Washington Street.

6:43 p.m., any civil problems — Two people, including one man with “Kick Ass” printed on his shirt, argued on North Poplar Street.

8:43 p.m., public intoxication — An intoxicated woman was surrounded by beer cans in front of a South Washington Street.

SATURDAY

9:09 a.m., theft — A bicycle was stolen from a South Stewart Street residence.

9:49 a.m., any civil problem — A person went through another person’s belongings on Dragoon Circle.

2:15 p.m., parking — A person on Bonanza Road believed eight vehicles were partially blocking the road. A patrol officer determined the vehicle were legally parked.

10:12 p.m., pedestrian/vehicle checks — A person was in a Woods Creek Drive park after hours and was trespassed from the area.

11:13 p.m., traffic violations — A woman did burnouts in a 2001 Chevy Tahoe at a Greenley Road apartment complex.

SUNDAY

12:41 p.m., lost, found property — A brand new bike was left in a Mono Way resident’s yard and he believed it was stolen.

4:32 p.m., vandalism, property damage — The tires were slashed on a vehicle left in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot.

6:07 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Two people listened to music at a loud volume and “took hits” of a large tank in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot.

8:02 p.m., traffic violations — A Be-On-the-Lookout was issued for a lifted Chevy vehicle driving recklessly on Mono Way.

8:17 p.m., weapons violations — Shots were heard in the area of Columbia Way.

2:03 p.m., Sonora — A suspicious group of people walked around Bergel Road with tools and other items that did not seem to belong to them.

2:19 p.m., Jamestown — A man climbed into an old hot tub that did not belong to him at a Golden Dove Lane residence.

6:57 p.m., Sonora — A woman sat on the ground on Curtis Circle surrounded by bags of clothes.

11:15 p.m., Sonora — Ten people were involved in a fight on Theall Street.

11:50 p.m., Jamestown — Several juveniles smoked cigarettes and drank alcohol in a Preston Lane parking lot.

2:24 a.m., Sonora — A woman swung a hatchet or large knife at cars and people in a Mono Way shopping center.

9:29 a.m., Strawberry — An Old Strawberry Road residence appeared to be ransacked.

12:44 p.m., Jamestown — Three men flashed a gun at a man while he drove to work on Highway 120.

1:18 p.m., Long Barn —At least three bear cubs were in a tree and separated from their mother on the other side of Highway 108.

5:04 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone threw a beer bottle at a man’s head at a Joaquin Gully Road business.

12:41 a.m., Sonora — A tree fell down across Murphy Road.

12:21 p.m., Twain Harte — A propane tank was stolen from a grill at a Sierra Drive residence.

12:51 p.m., Sonora — A strange man knocked on a Longeway Road resident’s door.

1:39 p.m., Twain Harte — A strange man raked the front of other people’s homes on Sierra Drive.

3:53 p.m., Sonora — The ex-girlfriend’s daughter of a Overlook Drive resident attempted to take possession of a donkey she had abandoned years prior.

6:27 p.m., Jamestown — Laura Frances Cude, 29, of the 5400 block of Arbolada Drive, La Grange, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and using a controlled substance following an arrest on Highway 108.

7:57 p.m., Sonora — Jeffrey James Perales, 30, of the 1400 block of Mccloskey Road, Hollister, was booked following an arrest on Highway 108.

9:57 p.m., Tuolumne — Kierstyn Ann Shephard, 34, of the 8500 block of Hillside Place, Pinon Hills, was booked following an arrest on Highway 108.
