The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

4:26 a.m., domestic disputes — A man and woman yelled at each other on East Bald Mountain Road while a baby cried.

7:10 a.m., theft — A potted tree was stolen from a West Jackson Street residence during the night and was found in the street the next morning.

9:35 a.m., traffic accidents — A vehicle without a driver rolled across a Sanguinetti Road parking lot and hit another vehicle.

2:49 p.m., animal complaints — A High Street resident’s yard was torn up by a group of chickens.

7:22 p.m., traffic violations — A vehicle on Highway 49 ran several red lights and threw cigarettes out of the window.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

2:36 a.m., Sonora — An Anderson Drive resident believed someone attempted to break into their residence when someone checked the door and then left in a car parked in the driveway.

9:05 a.m., Jamestown — A person on Peppermint Circle said a former employee refused to return a computer and other business equipment they used while employed.

5:11 p.m., Groveland — Four or five people held a man down and punched him on Jimmie Bell Street, and one man tried to throw an exercise bike out of a window.

7:39 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman caused a disturbance in a Tiffeni Drive store and threw a cup on the floor.

8:14 p.m., La Grange — An Arbolada Drive resident said his daughter was “subliminally threatening him.”

9:57 p.m., Twain Harte — An unknown pickup truck pulled into the driveway of a vacation home on Confidence Road.

9:59 p.m., Jamestown — Someone left a letter on the porch of a Sixth Avenue residence.

10:56 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Michael Talon Worth, 27, of the 2600 block of Chief Fuller Way, was booked after an arrest on Chief Fuller Road.

4:19 a.m., Oakdale — Ryan David Ashlock, 28, of the 300 block of South Main Street, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of evading a peace officer with a wanton disregard for safety, vehicle theft, receiving known stolen property, resisting a police officer, and assault with the intent to commit great bodily injury after an arrest on Poplar Avenue.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

4:27 a.m., San Andreas — Noise was heard in a Lewis Avenue backyard and a flashlight was seen.

8:27 a.m., Mountain Ranch — People smoked in front of a Garabaldi Street business.

9:58 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — Mail was stolen on Doster Road.

2:30 p.m., San Andreas — Drug paraphernalia was found on Main Street.

6:17 p.m., Valley Springs — A man fell asleep in a car wash bay on Highway 26.

6:33 p.m., Valley Springs — A riderless horse was seen in the area of Heney Lane.

8:02 p.m., Valley Springs — A man looked into people's yards on Barde Road while he looked for his lost dog.
