The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

1:58 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Two men checked door handles of parked unoccupied vehicles in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot.

6:31 a.m., unclassified — A large piece of construction equipment on Lyons Bald Mountain Road tore up asphalt.

9:01 a.m., theft — A bench porch swing was stolen from the front of a West Bradford Avenue religious charity building.

9:35 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A transient woman paced in front of a South Washington Street building.

1:46 p.m., animal complaints — Four young deer, with three bleeding from the mouth, ran frantically around a Greenley Road apartment complex.

4:09 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on South Washington Street made strange noises while he kicked his dog.

6:48 p.m., assault — A juvenile was listed as a runaway after being hit at a West Bradford Avenue property and fleeing the area.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:41 a.m., Jamestown — Underage girls were seen loitering on the corner of Seventh Street.

5:48 a.m., Sonora — A former Mono Way business employee was flipped off by his former coworkers.

11:05 a.m., Sonora — Gas was stolen from a business on Cuesta Court.

1:05 p.m., Columbia — Vehicle ownership title and keys were stolen from a Gunsight Road West property.

2:12 p.m., Sonora — A woman saw a man steal mail from her Rawhide Road residence after she deposited it.

8:48 p.m., Sonora — Dario Damacio Presinger, 25, of the first block of Linoberg Street, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving while with a suspended license from prior DUI arrests, and driving without a functioning ignition interlocking device following an arrest on Mono Way.

7:24 p.m., Copperopolis — A backpack was left in a driveway on Quiver Street.

7:52 p.m., San Andreas — Man camped at a Main Street park with a tent.

8:51 p.m., Arnold — A man yelled and sang while rifling through trash bins on Cedar Lane.
