The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

9:58 a.m., animal complaints — A black-and-white boxer mix dog and a yellow Labrador retriever with collars were lost in the area of Cemetery Lane.

10:08 a.m., controlled substances — A bag of marijuana was found in a Mono Way parking lot.

2:33 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A faucet handle was broken off at a Snell Street residence with a lock box that contained a key to the residence.

3:16 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Chicken at a Calaveras Way residence made loud noises for more than an hour.

5:11 p.m., theft — A man stole a credit card reader from a South Washington Street business.

7:55 p.m., controlled substances — A woman danced on the sidewalk on South Washington Street and some believed she may have been under the influence of something.

12:17 a.m., Groveland — A person on Nonpareil Way believed a “commune of druggies” lived behind her residence.

3:41 a.m., Tuolumne — A bike chained up on Tuolumne Road was covered in blood.

7:16 a.m., Sonora — A Bonanza Road resident located his stolen iPhone, iPad and night vision goggles at a homeless camp near his home.

11:39 p.m., Jamestown — An older man stood naked near a car on Highway 108.

2:34 p.m., Columbia — A juvenile threw a bottle at a vehicle on Columbia Village Drive.

7:05 p.m., Mi Wuk Village — A Lilac Lane resident said a neighbor shot and killed his cat with a pellet gun.
