The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY
6:42 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman walked into traffic and hit vehicles on Mono Way with something in her hand.

12:34 p.m., traffic accidents — A person on North Stewart Street hit a parked vehicle and asked for law enforcement assistance because she did not know where the owner was.

3:09 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man and woman in Kia hybrid vehicle almost hit another man and woman, and during an ensuing argument the woman that was nearly hit said the man in the Kia “flashed a badge” and his wife threatened to beat her up.

4:59 p.m., unclassified — A man skateboarded on the sidewalks in front of a Sanguinetti Road business.

7:10 p.m., reckless driving — A vehicle cut off another vehicle, pulled over, and then followed the driver on Stockton Road.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY
2:09 a.m., Sonora — Two bears were seen outside a person’s tent on Reynolds Ferry Road.

2:16 p.m., Twain Harte — Items were stolen from a patio on Broken Bough Lane.

5:28 p.m., Sonora — A Radio Lane resident said she received a resealed package, and inside was a white powder that caused her friend to “cough non-stop” when it was inhaled.

6:19 p.m., Sonora — A person on Sylva Lane claimed to have broken up a fight involving 11 juvenile males.

7:51 p.m., La Grange — Fourteen cows were seen wandering in the middle of Canada Street.

1:20 a.m., Columbia — Freddy Cedeno Gonzalez, 30, transient, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and false imprisonment following an arrest on the 22800 block of Valley Quail Road.

11:53 a.m., Columbia — Richard Wade Roberts, 50, of the 2100 block of Terpino Avenue, Long Beach, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, battery with serious bodily injury, threatening crime with the intent to terrorize and misdemeanor charges violating a court order to prevent domestic violence following an arrest on the 27300 block of Italian Bar Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY
1:06 a.m., West Point — A person on Barney Way heard someone outside their property but no one was located.

5:03 p.m., Angels Camp — A vehicle on Highway 49 was broken into.

7:06 p.m., San Andreas — An unknown vehicle was parked in a Foothill Court driveway.

7:08 p.m., Campo Seco — A vehicle on Watertown Road was burglarized.

8:55 p.m., Campo Seco — A person was cited on two local warrants and one person was arrested on a local felony warrant on Buckboard Lane.

3:06 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Norman David Miley, 53, of the 10700 block of Boe Sow Road, Galt, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license following an arrest near Highway 49.

7:30 p.m., San Andreas — James Eugene Louderback, 58, of the 100 block of Rawhide Drive, Arnold, was booked following an arrest on Highway 49.
