The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
7:56 a.m., animal complaints — Two pit bulls were seen running loose in the middle of Snell Street.

11:07 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man in a white van parked on Greenley Road and stared at children.

7:22 p.m., theft — A gray and brown bag with passports inside was stolen from a Stockton Road business.

10:22 p.m., assault — Someone threw things at a person near a Restano Way business and ran away.

10:45 p.m., reckless driving — A vehicle on Snell Street swerved in the road and drove at inconsistent speeds.


SATURDAY

9:29 a.m., parking — About 50-60 vehicles were parked in a vacant lot next to a South Washington Street residence.

1:58 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — An officer investigated a noise complaint for a South Washington Street bar, but when he arrived the music was not playing.

5:11 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was believed to be walking on Columbia Way with a gun.

6:26 p.m., threats — A man at a South Washington Street bar said someone threatened to kill him and showed him a firearm in his waistband.

8:06 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man in all black on East Church Street shoved another man down the stairs and then hid behind a retaining wall.


SUNDAY

8:23 a.m., domestic disputes — A woman on East Lyons street was screaming about someone running over her foot.

5:46 p.m., theft — Equipment was stolen from a vehicle bed on South Stewart Street during the night.

8:29 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman yelled and banged on a door at a Greenley Road apartment.

9:44 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — The sound of items being thrown was heard at a Mono Way building.

11:19 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A group of juveniles argued at a Greenley Road skate park and were notified about the park hours.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

3:12 a.m., Twain Harte — A street sign was destroyed by a vehicle accident on Tuolumne Road North and needed to be replaced.

9:39 a.m., Sonora — A prowler with his shirt half-off and pushed up over his head walked past the front door of a Sierra Meadows Drive residence during the night.

2:02 p.m., Sonora — A person fishing on a lake watched a vehicle roll over three times on Phoenix Lake Road.

6:07 p.m., Soulsbyville — A Hazel Avenue resident watched two teens at her property line smoking marijuana and they hid in the bushes when she told them to leave.

11:41 p.m., Jamestown — Juveniles on Sierra Avenue believed that they were being chased by a man with a gun.

8:22 a.m., Twain Harte — A Columbia Drive resident believed his neighbor was intentionally putting household garbage in his yard.

2:37 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Chicken Ranch Road walked on the street and flipped off drivers as they passed him.

6:29 p.m., Sonora — Two shots were heard coming from a Mormon Creek Road residence.

10:10 p.m., Sonora — A Palomino Road resident believed their neighbor was making too much noise by cutting wood and throwing it into a metal bin.

10:26 p.m., Columbia — A Red Gulch Road resident held a person at gunpoint when they came to his home and refused to leave.

12:38 p.m., Groveland — A large orange cat was hit by a car on Main Street.

1:44 p.m., Sonora — A TV and band equipment were stolen from a Cuesta Court business.

2:31 p.m., Sonora — A Phoenix Lake Road resident heard people revving dirt bikes and riding them loudly in the backyard.

8:39 p.m., Sonora — A person was heard ordering a cheese quesadilla after misdialing 911, and then asked if deputies needed help picking a lock at a local bank because he saw them earlier when he drove by.

11:09 p.m., Columbia — A man was lying in the middle of Parrotts Ferry Road and had to swerve to avoid him.

2:18 a.m., Twain Harte — Jonathan Scott Gonzales, 22, of the 22600 block of Twain Harte Drive, was booked following an arrest on Tuolumne Road North.

2:15 a.m., Sonora — Clayton Forrest Johnson, 29, of the 22700 block of Twain Harte Drive, Twain Harte, was booked following an arrest on Via Este Road.

8:06 a.m., Sonora — Douglas Lloyd Bennett, 58, of the 1800 block of Monterey Pines Drive, Roseville, was booked following an arrest on Highway 108.

9:55 p.m., Sonora — Tanya Maria Cimolino, 43, of the 17800 block of Buttercup Circle, was booked following an arrest on the 20400 block of Eureka Drive.

9:44 a.m., Campo Seco — Equipment was taken from a shed on Watertown Road.

8:46 p.m., Angels Camp — A boat was stranded near Whittle Road.

11:22 p.m., San Andreas — A person may have been intoxicated in public on Mountain Ranch Road.

12:13.m., Campo Seco — A marijuana related noise complaint was made on Buckboard Lane.

11:57 a.m., Burson — Unknown people were seen at a Hillcalle Drive home, and deputies contacted a cleaning crew.

7:58 p.m., San Andreas — Items left outside of a Gatewood Avenue building may have been stolen.

10:27 p.m., Murphys — A loud music complaint was made for a Rocky Hill Road property.

1:26 p.m., San Andreas — A man was seen lying on a park bench on East Saint Charles Street.

4:37 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Juveniles walked along Highway 49.

5:53 p.m., Copperopolis — A car pulled into a Conestoga Trail driveway, and then turned around and left.

7:53 p.m., Valley Springs — A report was issued of a panhandling horseback rider on Highway 26.

10:48 p.m. Camp Seco — A suspicious car was seen in the area of Buckboard Lane.
