The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:34 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A vehicle with a smashed windshield was parked against the wall of a North Washington Street parking structure and someone was sleeping in the back.

1:35 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man aggressively panhandled in front of a Stockton Road business.

3:07 p.m., public intoxication — A man walked unsteadily on his feet on South Washington Street but an officer was unable to locate him.

7:51 p.m., threats — A person on Calaveras Way requested to speak to an officer about a threatening message.

9:25 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman on Eastview Drive said the power was surging at her residence and someone in the house was on oxygen.

9:35 a.m., Columbia — Hawaiian jewelry was stolen from a Bennett Road residence over the weekend.

4:54 p.m., Jamestown — A Peppermint Circle resident needed to speak to a poison control agency because her grandson ate her deodorant.

5:32 p.m., Twain Harte — A man acted strange as he walked down Miners Avenue and swung a stick in the air behind him.

6:02 p.m., Tuolumne — A shop on Bay Avenue was broken into and someone broke a paint sprayer.

8:58 p.m., Jamestown — A Shell Road resident believed there was an intruder in her home slashing tires and throwing rocks.

WEDNESDAY

3:49 a.m., Sonora — Maurica Nodawae Walton, 28, transient, was booked following an arrest on Shepherd Street.

Felony bookings

WEDNESDAY

11:54 a.m., Jamestown — Mark Freeman Zachary, 50, of the 16100 block of Big Hill Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and false imprisonment by violence after an arrest on the 18100 block of Rawhide Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

10:24 a.m., San Andreas — Fuel and a trailer were stolen from a Bellview Street property.

4:30 p.m., San Andreas — A deputy issued an equipment warning during a traffic stop on Mountain Ranch Road.

6:41 p.m., Douglas Flat — People walked along a creek on private property near Monge Ranch Road.

10:58 p.m., Copperopolis — A person on Signal Hill Trail heard the sound of a loud boom.

WEDNESDAY

San Andreas — Krista Marie Freihofner, 42, of the 200 block of Gold Creek Drive, Valley Springs, was booked after an arrest on the 400 block of Government Center Drive.
