The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

9:05 a.m., traffic accidents — A vehicle was damaged on South Washington Street and someone left a note with a license plate number for a big rig truck that was believed to be responsible.

12:49 p.m., miscellaneous harassment — A woman on Pesce Way believed they were being followed by a woman who yelled and threatened her.

2:31 p.m., traffic accidents — People involved in a non-injury vehicle accident on Stockton Road exchanged information.

6:05 p.m., hazardous situation — A train stopped on tracks on Hospital Road and caused the crossing arms to go down and block the road.

8:17 p.m., public intoxication — A woman believed to be intoxicated walked down Highway 49.

3:16 a.m., Sonora — A Crow Court resident woke up and heard the floor creaking and doors closing.

9:29 a.m., Sonora — Hundreds of beer bottles were spilled on Mono Way near Hess Road.

11:47 a.m., Sonora — A FedEx delivery man may have had a heart attack on Good Shepherd Road.

2:32 p.m., Jamestown — When a person delivered Meals on Wheels to a Main Street residence, the recipient may have been drunk and was naked on the floor.

9:24 p.m., Jamestown — A man standing in a Preston Lane parking lot yelled at someone over his cell phone and threatened to kill people.

1:29 a.m., Jamestown — Luis Elvin Ciuro Vazquez, 31, of the 2500 block of West 65th Street, Hialeah, Florida, was booked following an arrest on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

10:40 a.m., Sonora — Dustin Robert Stevens, 29, transient, was booked on suspicion of preparing false evidence and violation of post-release community supervision following an arrest on the 400 block of South Washington Street.

10:38 p.m., Sonora — Joshua Daniel Kaufman, 39, of the 18500 block of Manzanita Drive, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale and transporting a controlled substance following an arrest on Stockton Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

8:41 a.m., Copperopolis — A person slept inside a storage unit on Copper Court.

9:54 a.m., Valley Springs — A person stole gas on Huckleberry Lane.

11:27 a.m., Murphys — Checks were stolen from a Main Street property and later used.

12:12 p.m., Valley Springs — An arrest was made on Bergsma Lane.

8:12 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — People were involved in an argument on North Main Street.

3:32 p.m., Douglas Flat — Ashlee Olivia Okelsrud, 24, of the 1800 block of Live Oak Drive, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale, possession of a controlled substance for sale and misdemeanor charges possession of a narcotic controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia following an arrest on the 1800 block of Live Oak Drive.
