THURSDAY

1:27 a.m., Sonora — A vehicle was taken from an unknown address on Phoenix Lake Road.

1:42 a.m., Sonora — A woman in the Sheriff’s Office lobby said she was homeless and was going to sleep in the lobby.

2:13 a.m., Sonora — The driver of a gray Honda traveling westbound on Tuolumne Road drove 20 miles under the speed limit and “brake checked” vehicles following behind.

4:46 a.m., Sonora — A caller said two men in a Kia Spectra were doing meth in the parking lot of a Soulsbyville Road business.

5:02 a.m., Sonora — An Ahwahnee Road resident said he confronted a man and woman who were walking down the road making noise. When the resident confronted the couple a second time, the man threatened him and “came at him.”

5:19 a.m., Sonora — A vehicle was left parked off of Kewin Mill Road with its door open.

7 a.m., Jamestown — A woman passed out by mailboxes on Highway 108.

7:08 a.m., Soulsbyville — A Soulsbyville Road resident said someone rifled through the glovebox of his unlocked pickup.

7:58 a.m., Sonora — A person was “curled up” among their belongings on Mill Villa Court.

FRIDAY

9:20 a.m., Columbia — A Gold Springs Drive resident’s dogs chased a 75-pound bear up a tree.

10:43 a.m., Jamestown — Items were stolen from the Highway 120 Bridge Project on Jacksonville Road.

10:47 a.m., Sonora — A Parkridge Avenue resident said an old man has called six times a day for three days, and when the resident asks what the man wants, he says, “Damned if I know.”

11:03 a.m., Big Oak Flat — A second-hand report was made of a tour bus traveling eastbound through Big Oak Flat with a child in pink on its roof.

12:13 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said the doors were open and a screen removed from her Pioneer Circle vacation home.

12:41 p.m., Jamestown — A man said he left his blower at a Jamestown Road car wash and it was gone when he returned to retrieve it.

12:43 p.m., New Melones — A vehicle was broken into and vandalized at the Tuttletown launch area.

3:11 p.m., Soulsbyville — An Oman Drive resident said people were at the water tower doing drugs.

4:04 p.m., Sonora — A chainsaw was stolen off the porch of an Allison Way residence.

5:10 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A cow and a bull were loose on New Priest Grade.

8:12 p.m., Sonora — A Sullivan Creek Road resident said several homeless people wearing headlamps were camping in the backyard and yelling that they “are going to hurt somebody.”

9:10 p.m., East Sonora — A man who was possibly drunk or on drugs was belligerent to customers at a Mono Way business and was asking people for a ride.

7:43 p.m., Sonora — Juan Ponce Jr. 49, transient, of Modesto, was booked after an arrest on Mono Way at Sullivan Creek.

1:06 p.m., Burson — Motorcycle rider drove too fast on a shared driveway on Burson Road.

2:04 p.m., Angels Camp — Authorities assisted the driver of a boat that ran aground on an island.

3:37 p.m., Railroad Flat — A burglary was reported to a property on North Railroad Flat Road.

5:52 p.m., Sheep Ranch — Someone cut a fence on an Armstrong Road property, entered and cut wood without permission.

3:10 p.m., Campo Seco — A commercial property on Watertown Road was burglarized.

5:17 p.m., Mountain Ranch — An East Murray Creek Road resident said a person was there who was not welcome. The person agreed to leave in the morning.

5:23 p.m., Burson — People were driving on a Southworth Street property, spinning donuts and leaving trash.

5:40 p.m., Railroad Flat — The owner of a reported abandoned vehicle on Ridge Road said he ran out of gas.
