The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

11:15 a.m., lost, found property — A blanket was left on a bench outside of a South Washington Street business, picked up, and disposed of.
12:22 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone broke into a vehicle parked on Lyons Bald Mountain Road and drained the battery by playing the radio.

1:53 p.m., traffic accidents — Someone crashed into a vehicle parked on West Bradford Avenue and left a red paint transfer on it.

5:22 p.m., domestic disputes — A person attempted to take a car seat out of a vehicle and throw it at another vehicle on Greenley Road.

10:04 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was “wobbling” as he walked down Pesce Way and asked people in vehicles for money.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

8:46 a.m., Groveland — Several items were stolen from outside a James Circle residence.

12:12 p.m., Twain Harte — A Twain Harte Drive resident requested an officer check an abandoned refrigerator on the side of the road because they were concerned a child would get trapped inside of it.

1:00 p.m., Jamestown — Animal feces and trash bags were seen inside of a Mill Villa Road residence.

10:23 p.m., Jamestown — A Wigwam Road resident was issued a citation for inappropriate use of 911 after calling dispatch multiple times to ask what they were doing and to tell deputies thank you.

1:12 a.m., Jamestown — Andre Mychael Slater, 33, of the 6700 block of Metcalf Way, Hughson, was booked on suspicion of felony driving under the influence causing bodily injury and child endangerment after an arrest on Highway 108.

11:44 p.m., Sonora — Charles Edwin Smith, 48, of the 10500 block of Eighth Street, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon after an arrest on Tuolumne Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

1:17 a.m., San Andreas — People ended a Halloween party on Angels Road by smashing a washing machine.

9:00 a.m., Valley Springs — A man and woman walked with bags down the side of Hartvickson Lane and a caller was concerned they had been in someone’s garage.

10:44 a.m., San Andreas — An unfamiliar truck was in the area of Gold Strike Road where gasoline thefts had been reported.

4:06 p.m., Arnold — Someone drove slowly through a Sequoia Street neighborhood while a couple attempted to find a home for a cat.

9:18 p.m., Copperopolis — People used flashlights inside a vacant house on Arrowhead Street.
