The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:11 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Three people in a PT Cruiser with tape partially covering the license plate pulled into a Greenley Road parking lot and began filming people.

10:49 a.m., unclassified — A person at a South Washington Street business dumped cleaning liquid down a city drain.

11:51 a.m., burglary — A storage shed on Fairview Lane was broken into during the night.

3:24 p.m., miscellaneous codes — A man and woman with a sign that said “Homeless” went up to vehicles on South Washington Street and asked for money.

6:20 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man pulled his pants down and exposed himself in the area of South Washington Street and Highway 108.

SATURDAY

11:12 a.m., controlled substances — A maid found drug material in a room at a Stockton Road business.

2:28 p.m., lost, found property — A juvenile left a bicycle under an overpass and on the side of Sanguinetti Road during the night.

5:50 p.m., fraudulent activities — An ATM card was fraudulently used at a movie distribution box in front of a Stockton Road business.

1:02 a.m., weapons violations — Two shots were heard in the Saratoga Road area.

7:26 a.m., lost, found property — A woman’s wallet was found on South Shepherd Street.

9:41 a.m., reckless driving — A person on South Washington Street watched a reckless motorcycle driver do wheelies while driving down the road.

10:26 a.m., burglary — Handmade jewelry and display cases were stolen from a vehicle parked on South Stewart Street.

3:17 p.m., domestic violence — Someone on North Shepherd Street watched a man hit a female passenger more than 30 times in the face and neck.

8:26 a.m., Jamestown — A man said a woman stole $100 online from him and followed her to a Chicken Ranch Road business

8:39 a.m., Sonora — $3,000 was stolen from a Parrotts Ferry Road inn while a woman was at her wedding.

11:19 a.m., Groveland — A gas blower and a riding lawn mower were stolen from an Elder Lane property.

5:57 p.m., Sonora — A woman’s dog on Upper Hillview Drive was mauled by another dog.

11:13 p.m., Sonora — Kids threw watermelons at a vehicle on Tuolumne Road.

FRIDAY

11:58 p.m., Columbia — A man yelled at a fake rock in front of a Parrotts Ferry Road school for 15 minutes before falling down and being unable to get up.

2:26 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Jamestown Road believed that their mail, including checks, had been stolen.

8:05 p.m., Jamestown — A man passed out drunk behind a Main Street business.

7:10 a.m., Columbia — A woman on Mountain Boy Mine Road was concerned about a man parked in a vehicle near her property, but determined that they were tree cutters.

10:45 a.m., Tuolumne — A man and woman in a vehicle on Tuolumne Road snorted drugs.

12:10 p.m., Jamestown — Two men holding rifles parked their vehicle near Jacksonville Road before hopping a fence.

1:39 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on Seco Street found a prescription bottle with pills spilled all around it.

4:53 p.m., Columbia — A man came to the door of a Parrotts Ferry Road residence and claimed to know the owners.

11:29 p.m., Jamestown — A man with long hair yelled and hit street signs on Seco Street.

10:55 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone cut wood on a Mount Elizabeth property.

1:43 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone broke a window on a vehicle parked on Yosemite Road during an argument.

2:05 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman sat in front of a Tiffeni Drive business drinking and singing to herself.

6:57 p.m., Sonora — Approximately 20 shots were heard in the area of Scattergood Road.

10:30 p.m., Mi Wuk Village — A rental cabin on Wuke Lane was the site of three excessively noisy weekend parties.

11:25 p.m., Sonora — Bruce Henry Archer, 54, of the 5800 block of Railroad Flat Road, Mountain Ranch, was booked after an arrest on Mono Way.

11:30 a.m., Jamestown — Travis John Cross, 36, of the 2200 block of Charles Street, Hughson, was booked on suspicion of possession of a firearm while a felon, carrying a loaded firearm with a prior felony conviction, possession of ammunition while prohibited and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia after an arrest on Chicken Ranch Road.

6:39 p.m., Sonora — Derrick John Lawrence, 37, of the 22900 block of Bald Mountain Road, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury after an arrest at his home.
