The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:56 a.m., traffic accidents — A woman driving on Stockton Road was rear-ended by a man who smelled of alcohol.

10:23 a.m., any civil problem — A person on Mono Way left a cart in a parking lot that rolled into and damaged another person’s vehicle.

11:28 a.m., lost, found property — Blankets and bags of items were left at the bottom of a Symons Lane driveway.

12:02 p.m., weapons violations — A man in a vehicle in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot pulled a handgun on another person.

5:06 p.m., controlled substances — A person said a drug deal occurred in a South Washington Street parking lot.

6:19 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man in a wheelchair panhandled on Sanguinetti Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

1:47 a.m., Sonora — A person rang the doorbell at a Chukar Circle residence, left a bucket that was on fire on the porch and ran away.

8:01 a.m., Sonora — A man jumped out of a vehicle on Highway 108 and a woman made U-turns in the middle of the road.

9:54 a.m., Jamestown — Two goats were in the middle of Rawhide Road.

4:51 p.m., Columbia — A boy on Sawmill Flat Road called in tears after he said he was slapped by his mother and she popped his bike tires.

5:24 p.m., Sonora — A man walked along Highway 49 with what appeared to be a pistol.

8:24 p.m., Sonora — A rattlesnake outside a Serena Court residence scared a woman’s dog.

2:29 a.m., Sonora — George Tito Alberto Falero, 31, of the first block of North Poplar Street, was booked after an arrest on Stockton Road.

4:18 p.m., Sonora — Clayten Allen Banks, 32, of the 19400 block of Village Drive, was booked on suspicion of raping by force, inflicting corporal injury and threatening crime with the intent to terrorize after an arrest on the first block of Lower Sunset Drive.

5:23 p.m., Sonora — Daymian Ooshana, 23, of the 1300 block of North Denair Avenue, Turlock, was booked on suspicion of possession of a concealed, unregistered weapon and misdemeanor charges driving without a license, presenting false registration and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia after an arrest 300 block of South Washington Street.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:35 a.m., Murphys — A person “known to cause trouble” showed up at a Main Street business.

5:29 a.m., Burson — A person on Highway 12 yelled for help in a parking lot as she attempted to contain her dogs.

6:50 a.m., Valley Springs — Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Hogan Dam Road.

7:56 a.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle with a broken windshield was on the side of Shadow Lane.

5:10 p.m., San Andreas — A woman attempted to move a garbage bin on West Saint Charles Street.

6:55 p.m., Valley Springs — Several people tampered with an electrical panel on Sequoia Avenue.

1142 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A child yelled for 20 minutes, possibly “in fun.”
