The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
MONDAY
1:21 a.m., trespass/loiter — An abandoned building on Mono Way had lights and loud inside.
9:45 a.m., animal complaints — While a person was on South Washington Street, their dog was attacked by a neighbor’s dog.
2:26 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A pickup truck appeared to be towing a train boxcar on Shaws Flat Road. It was actually a storage container.
5:46 p.m., trespass/loiter — Three people lay on a Hospital Road sidewalk and refused to leave.
5:49 p.m., controlled substances — Drug paraphernalia was found behind an Old Wards Ferry Road business.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
MONDAY
5:22 a.m., Sonora — A young child yelled “momma” in the area of Chukar Circle.
7:35 a.m., Sonora — A person attempted to steal registration stickers off a vehicle parked on Karen Court.
8:47 a.m., Columbia — People on Italian Bar Road argued about mining profits and a marijuana grow.
11:29 a.m., Twain Harte — A Mount Elizabeth Road resident requested extra patrols in her neighborhood on Friday and Saturday nights due to bonfires in the area.
3:12 p.m., Columbia — A man on Italian Bar Road threatened to dismember a person and his family.
4:18 p.m., Tuolumne — A man at an Old Buchanan Mine Road residence chased a woman’s boyfriend with a rock in his hand.
10:08 p.m., Sonora — A man who had been drinking threw knives and other items around a Sunny Circle house.

10:23 p.m., Sonora — Angeline Amanda Meether, 36, of the 3600 block of Church Street, Columbia, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49.

10:25 a.m., Groveland — Clint Alexander Maxon, 40, of the 10900 block of Yosemite Springs Road, was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, inflicting corporal injury, damaging a telephone line and dissuading a victim after an arrest at his home.
12:01 p.m., Sonora — Brian Lee Shrader, 30, transient, was booked on suspicion of criminal conspiracy, attempting to commit a state specific crime, possession of a controlled substance in jail and misdemeanor charges possession of tobacco in jail after an arrest on Yaney Avenue.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
MONDAY
2:31 a.m., San Andreas — An intoxicated person rang a doorbell on Toyon Court.
8:42 a.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle in a Laurel Street parking lot was full of trash.
8:10 p.m., Avery — A man caused a disturbance outside a Highway 4 business.
