TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

6:20 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Two people appeared to be passed out in a vehicle outside a Sanguinetti Road business.

10:16 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man in a cart on South Washington Street seemed to be under the influence of a substance.

4:30 p.m., theft — An employee of a Highway 49 business did not return a laptop after being terminated from their position.

8:27 p.m., miscellaneous harassment — A North Stewart Street resident received threatening phone calls and messages on social media.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

10:31 a.m., Tuolumne — Someone let the air out of a person’s vehicle tires when it was parked on First Avenue.

2:08 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Jeni Court caught someone stealing mail from neighborhood mailboxes.

2:56 p.m., Sonora — A man in an electric wheelchair appeared to be slumped over on Mono Way, but a concerned citizen learned he was just having difficulty getting up a slope.

5:24 p.m., Twain Harte — A Middle Camp-Sugarpine Road man’s gun fell out of his holster and he accidently shot himself in the ankle.

6:20 p.m., Jamestown — A Seco Street resident arrived home to find that a rock had been thrown through her window.

9:28 p.m., Sonora — Someone threw eggs at cars traveling on Black Oak Road.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

WEDNESDAY

4:12 p.m., Tuolumne — Susan Alice Hayes, 55, of the 18100 block of Box Factory Road, was booked after an arrest on Tuolumne Road.

Felony bookings

WEDNESDAY

12:20 p.m., Sonora — Timothy Michael Barlass, 22, of the 200 block of Mono Way, was booked on suspicion of sodomy by force, oral copulation by force and possession of a weapon by a prisoner after an arrest on Yaney Avenue.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

5:46 a.m., San Andreas — An unwelcome family member was on a Pope Street resident’s porch. The person left voluntarily when asked.

8:49 a.m., San Andreas — A person held a sign outside a courthouse on Government Center Drive.

11:09 a.m., Arnold — A vehicle was camped in a parking lot on Blagen Road.

8:03 p.m., Railroad Flat — People argued on North Railroad Flat Road.
