Fiber artists meet
today in Sonora
The Studio 49 Fiber Arts Group will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Tuolumne County Library, 480 Greenley Road in Sonora.
Anyone interested in spinning, waving, knitting, crocheting or other fiber arts is welcome.

The Mother Lode Weavers and Spinners Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the clubhouse at Rambling Hills Estates, 23732 Parrotts Ferry Road in Columbia.
After the meeting, fiber artist Stephenie Gaustad will give a hands-on demonstration on rope-making.

craft fair set Thursday
Rose Wolf Wildlife Rescue will hold a Holiday Craft Fair Thursday at Starbucks in The Junction shopping center on Mono Way in East Sonora.
The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include one-of-a-kind wildlife crafts, stocking stuffers for dogs and cats, ornaments, knitted hot pad/spoon sets, wooden bowls, lavender-scented heat/ice packs, deer whistles and more.
Rose Wolf Wildlife is a 501(c) nonprofit organization in Sonora that cares for small mammal wildlife.

Home Tour set Dec. 2
The Sonora Branch of AAUW will present its 51st annual Home Tour and Tea Dec. 2.
The organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year includes a tour of four Sonora-area homes, and a tea, boutique and prize drawing at the Columbia Presbyterian Church of the 49ers, 11155 Jackson St., in Columbia.
Self-guided home tours can be done between noon and 4 p.m. The tea and boutique will be held from noon to 5 p.m.
Tickets cost $25 per person and can be purchased by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org . Proceeds will be used to provide scholarships to Tuolumne County students.
