Turkey Drive
will help with holiday dinners

The Amador-Tuolumne Community Action Agency Food bank will benefit Nov. 4 from its first ever Turkey Drive.

The drive will be held in front of Savemart in the Timberhills Shopping Center on Mono Way in Sonora, and people are encouraged to donate a frozen turkey or make a monetary donation. Diestel Turkey Ranch will match every turkey donated between 11 a.m. and noon that day.

Fine food, wine,
cider tasting planned

Sampling of fine food, wines and ciders will be offered Oct. 24 when Black Oak Casino Resort and the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce present A Sip of Wine, A Taste of Food and a Touch of Business.

The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seven Sisters at Black Oak Casino Resort in Tuolumne.

A silent auction also will be held.
