ArtsHarvest Dinner slated for Saturday

The Manzanita Writers Press will hold its annual ArtsHarvest Dinner Dance Party Saturday at The Pickle Patch in San Andreas.

The event will run from 6 to 9 p.m. and will include a chicken tortellini dinner and dessert, music by Mumbo Gumbo, a no-host wine bar and a silent auction of art and items donated by local merchants.

Golden Regiment to benefit from Big Macs

The Golden Regiment Band on Oct. 4 will hold a fundraising event at McDonald’s, 1261 Mono Way, in Sonora (the one nearest Safeway).

A portion of all sales made between 5 and 7 p.m. will be donated to the band.

Vendors sought
for Oktoberfest

The Twain Harte Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking craft vendors for its 12th annual Oktoberfest, slated for Oct. 7 at Eproson Park in Twain Harte.

Vendors will be open beginning at 10 a.m., the Oktoberfest tent opens at 11 a.m., and everything shuts down at 4 p.m.

Live music will be performed by the Black Irish Band from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and by Agent until closing.

Traditional German food will be served under the tent, and there will be more than 25 craft breweries on hand for tasting. Wine will also be available.

Cost for a booth is $37.50 for the day.
