Summerville High School and Connections Visual and Performing Arts Academy will introduce “Harvey” this week in Tuolumne.

The play is about a man and his imaginary friend who bring kindness and joy to the people they meet, organizers said.

The cast includes Alexia Franco as Myrtle Mae, Rachel Walters as Veta Louise, Chris Olson as Elwood P. Dowd, Lena Zavadil as Miss Johnson, Sabrina Jensen as Mrs. E. Chauvenet, Bethany McKinstry as Ruth Kelly, Jayden Uhl as Duane Wilson, Matthew Francis as Lyman Sanderson, McCormic Banks as William Chumley, Kylie Carr as Betty Chumley, Levi Flores as Judge Omar Gaffney, and Izak Barnett as E.J. Lofgren.

The play is directed by Van Gordon, with Zak Price serving as assistant director and Gabby Infelise as stage manger.

The play will be performed 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday as well as 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students (Saturday’s matinee is $2 cheaper).
