Barbara Jane Huff Fought

Barbara Jane Huff Fought, 75, died Sunday at her home in Twain Harte.

Born in Driggs, Idaho, to Sara Hochstrasser and Ven Dean Huff, she grew up in the Teton Valley of Idaho.

After graduating from high school, she moved to San Francisco and earned a business degree at Heald Business College.

She worked as an executive secretary until her retirement in 1983.

In 1946, she married Therman Grant Fought in Driggs, and they made their home in San Francisco. He died in 1986.

Mrs. Fought is survived by her companion of 14 years, Bob Wright of Twain Harte; a son and daughter-in-law, Tyler Grant Fought and Yvonne Fought of Valley Springs; a daughter and son-in-law, Kelsey Dean Bruecker and Charley Bruecker of Chowchilla; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her brother and sister-in-law, Richard M. and Bonnie Huff and their son, Ron Martino, of Boise, Idaho.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Twain Harte Golf Course. Inurnment will be at Cache-Clawson Cemetery in Tetonia, Idaho.

Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Sierra, P.O. Box 4805, Sonora.
