MONDAY

2:59 a.m., Crystal Falls — A woman on the 21000 block of Glenwood Road said she saw a man puncture the tires on a vehicle parked there. A deputy cited the man for vandalism.

8:34 a.m., Pinecrest — A man said he lost his brother's wallet while skiing at Dodge Ridge. The wallet contained two credit cards, a drivers license and cash.

10:08 a.m., Jamestown — The owner of Jimtown Frosty on the 18300 block of Main Street said the back door of the business was broken overnight.

10:42 a.m., Twain Harte — The manager of Twain Harte Market on the 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive detained a 50-year-old man he suspected of shoplifting.

10:57 a.m., Willow Springs — A man on the 21200 block of Oman Drive said he invited a woman into his house and she poured beer over him.

3:14 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller said four teens were fighting in Tuolumne Park on Bay Avenue and Pine Street. An older woman joined the fight and allegedly started choking a girl, then drove away with the remaining three teens.

3:33 p.m., Jamestown — A truck parked on the 10600 block of Eighth Street was broken into, and the steering column and ignition switch were damaged.

10:28 p.m., Sonora Meadows — A man on the 19400 block of Sullivan Creek Road said four tires were stolen from his property.

SUNDAY

12:56 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A non-injury crash was reported on the 300 block of South Washington Street. A red pickup with a camper shell ran into the Day-O Espresso building.

1:30 p.m., vehicle theft — A woman said someone took her car while she was in a store on the 700 block of Mono Way. An officer discovered the car had been repossessed.

2:03 p.m., reckless driving — A woman said she was following a tan pickup with a camper shell from the Columbia area to a business on Stockton Road. She said the female driver was "all over the roadway."

5:56 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury crash was reported on the 400 block of South Barretta Street.

5:58 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man said it looked like three teen-agers were trying to break into a car in the parking lot of the Sonora Plaza shopping center on Mono Way.

9:34 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An employee at Wal-Mart on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road in the Sonora Crossroads shopping center said youngsters were stealing items out of the garden center.

9:49 p.m., theft — A 15-year-old girl was cited and released to her mother on suspicion of possessing a fire extinguisher stolen from Signature Theater on the 900 block of Sanguinetti Road.

10:31 p.m., assault — A physical fight was reported at a residence on the 100 block of East Columbia Way.

Arrested

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Javier Ruiz Medina, 48, 16000 block of Creekside Drive, Sonora, booked at 2:33 a.m. Monday after arrest on the 13400 block of Highway 108, Sonora.

Fire calls

FRIDAY

1 p.m., Sonora — Sonora Fire Department responded to the 100 block of Stockton Road to douse a small fire in the engine compartment of a pickup owned by Darryl Pief of Angels Camp. No dollar damage was available this morning.

4:15 p.m., Tuttletown — No damage was reported in a flue fire at a home owned by Ida Alves on the 20400 block of Tuttletown Road. Responding were California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and Tuolumne County Fire Department.

SUNDAY

6:15 p.m., Sonora area — An electrical fire caused $200 damage to the motor of a pellet stove owned by Michaela Richardson of the 12000 block of Appey Way. Responding were CDF, TCFD, Jamestown Fire Protection District and Sonora Fire Department.

7:37 a.m., Mountain Ranch — A caller on the 8000 block of Mountain Ranch Road said he was assaulted after leaving a bar.

1:47 p.m., Sheep Ranch — A caller said people selling meat from the back of a van parked on Avery-Sheep Ranch Road near Mineral Mountain were being too aggressive.

3:57 p.m., Valley Springs — A storage unit on the 3300 block of Highway 12 was reported burglarized.

8:15 p.m., San Andreas — A deputy disbursed a group of people fighting on the 400 block of West St. Charles Street.

SATURDAY

7 p.m., Dorrington — No dollar damage was reported in a flue fire on the 5000 block of Meko Drive. The property owner's name was not available. Ebbetts Pass Fire Protection District responded.
