8:04 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — A driver said the rear window of her car was shattered while she was driving on Fortuna Mine Road.

8: 43 a.m., Sonora Meadows — The back window of a truck parked on the 21200 block of Crestview Drive was reported shot out.

8:53 a.m., Standard area — A woman calling from the 18000 block of Blue Bell East reported her husband's paycheck had been stolen and cashed on Christmas Eve.

8:55 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — The back window of a car parked on the 21800 block of El Oso Way was reported shot out.

9:06 a.m., Jamestown — A business on the 18200 block of Main Street was reported burglarized.

9:13 a.m., Crystal Falls — Seven bullet holes were reported in the driver's side of a car parked on the 21300 block of Evergreen Way.

9:38 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — A caller from the 21400 block of Phoenix Lake Road reported that the front French door windows of her house were shot out.

9:47 a.m., Sonora Meadows — The back driver's side window of a car parked on the 16500 block of Sallander Drive was reported shot out.

9:55 a.m., Columbia — Two mailboxes on the 22100 block of Parrotts Ferry Road were reported knocked down.

10:18 a.m., Greenley area — A couple was reported fighting in the parking lot of the Tuolumne County Child Welfare Services office, on the 20100 block of Cedar Road.

10:57 a.m., Groveland — A caller from the 19500 block of Cottonwood Drive reported receiving "a strange call from a man looking for his stepdaughter."

11:33 a.m., Sonora Meadows — The driver's side window of a car parked on the 21200 block of Crestview Drive was reported broken out.

11:45 a.m., Tuolumne area — Mail was reported stolen from a mailbox on the 17800 block of Yosemite Road.

11:47 a.m., Sonora Meadows — A caller from the 16400 block of Creekside Drive reported a cellular phone valued at $40 was lost.

12:31 p.m., Twain Harte area — The Tuolumne Utilities District reported that someone "dug a pickup load of dirt" from behind a retaining wall between two water storage tanks off Confidence Road and that "the wall is beginning to slump."

12:33 p.m., Jamestown — A restaurant on the 18200 block of Main Street was reported burglarized.

12:53 p.m., East Sonora — Four pistols were reported stolen from a mini storage unit on Camage Way.

12:53 p.m., Groveland area — Guns and jewelry were reported stolen from a home on the 23200 block of Elmore Road.

12:56 p.m., Sierra Village — After a coin collection, a 5-gallon bucket of change, marbles and a CD player were reported stolen from a home on the 21100 block of Lodestone Avenue, vandalism and threats between roommates were reported at the same residence.

1:39 p.m., East Sonora — Trash was reported illegally dumped at a restaurant on the 14300 block of Mono Way.

2:20 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller from the 22800 block of Highland Drive said she gave a neighbor $140 to put a clutch and starter in her car and that the man moved out before doing the work.

3:26 p.m., Pine Mountain Lake — A caller from the 20600 block of Longview Street said she wanted subdivision security "to handle juveniles chasing deer in her lot."

4:54 p.m., East Sonora — A business on the 13700 block of Mono Way reported that a woman was going through its trash bin.

5:41 p.m., Twain Harte area —A caller from the 19800 block of August Court reported juveniles snowboarding on his property.

5:53 p.m., Groveland — A caller from the 19500 block of Cottonwood Street reported his estranged wife took a credit card from him.

6:07 p.m., Tuolumne — Black Oak Casino asked for extra New Year's Eve patrol.

7:55 p.m., Jamestown — A lit firecracker was thrown onto the porch of the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall on the 18100 block of Seco Street. The resulting explosion did no damage.

9:10 p.m., Crystal Falls — A caller from the 16500 block of Crystal Falls Drive reported that someone in the area had been setting off firecrackers for the past two hours.

9:26 p.m., East Sonora — A clerk at a fast-food restaurant on Mono Way said a drunken customer spit on him.

10:31 p.m., Tuolumne area — Gunshots were reported near Mountain Lilly Road.

10:33 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Guests at a Highway 108 motel complained of loud music from across the street.

10:35 p.m., Ponderosa Hills — A Canyonview Road caller reported a "loud explosion."

11:19 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — Gunshots were reported on Phoenix Lake Road.

12:04 a.m., Twain Harte — Gunshots were reported on Middle Camp Road.

12:08 a.m., Racetrack area — Fireworks were reported on Nashua Drive.

12:17 a.m., Crystal Falls — A caller from the 21800 block of Russian River Drive said men in a red Chevrolet Blazer had just bashed a neighbor's mailbox with a baseball bat.

12:27 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — A teen caller from the 15300 block of Poco Calle said neighbors were lighting firecrackers and that, when he went out to investigate, he was offered a beer.

1 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — A caller from the 21700 block of Robin Hill complained that his neighbors were target shooting.

5:15 a.m., Groveland area — A caller from the 21300 block of Elder Lane said her car was rammed by a white Ford Bronco.

10:07 a.m., Cedar Ridge — A man reportedly shoved a woman on Broken Pine Road.

10:21 a.m., Jamestown area —A 93-year-old woman calling from the 17000 block of Table Mountain Road asked help caring for her disabled 61-year-old son.

11:02 a.m., Sonora — A citizen came to the Sheriff's Office lobby to report a case of child molestation.

11:10 a.m., Sonora area — Trash was reportedly dumped illegally on the 17800 block of Old Wards Ferry Road.

11:15 a.m., Tuolumne area — A woman calling from the 16100 block of Yosemite Road said her mother was threatened by her stepfather, who "ripped the phones out of the wall and tried to break the neck of the family dog."

11:39 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — The rear window of a four-wheel-drive wagon parked on the 15300 block of Camino Del Parque was reported shot out.

2:26 p.m., Crystal Falls — A caller from the 17000 block of Nile River Drive reported that "neighbor kids" were trespassing and damaging her property.

2:40 p.m., Long Barn area — About 200 sledding trespassers were reported at Little Sweden.

3:34 p.m., Columbia — Several callers reported a drunk stumbling and falling down near Parrotts Ferry Road businesses.

4:04 p.m., Pinecrest — Dodge Ridge reported "a huge traffic problem" and asked deputies' help in dealing with it.

6:23 p.m., Pinecrest — An 18-year-old woman who reportedly never returned from snowboarding at Dodge Ridge was located at a Twain Harte cabin.

8:27 p.m., Don Pedro — A 30-pack of beer was reported stolen from the Don Pedro Market, on the 3300 block of Highway 132, by shoplifters who fled in a red Thunderbird.

10:23 p.m., Coulterville — The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office asked for backup during a confrontation on Broadway Street.

10:33 p.m., Jamestown — A couple was reported fighting in a parking lot on Preston Lane.

11:01 p.m., Jamestown — A woman claimed a man harassed her and accused her of being a drug dealer outside a Highway 108 mini-mart.

THURSDAY

1 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — Cars parked on the 15500 block of Camino Del Parque were reported egged and covered with shaving cream.

1:31 a.m., Long Barn — A Long Barn Road caller told a dispatcher his wife left with their 10-month-old baby two days ago and he is "very depressed."

1:55 a.m., East Sonora — A rock was reported thrown through the driver's side window of a car parked at a Mono Way fast-food restaurant.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

9:45 a.m., Sonora area — John Craig Meier, 44, Big Hill Road, Columbia, booked on suspicion of drug possession and parole violation after arrest at Campo Seco and Lime Kiln roads. According to the Sheriff's Office, a deputy pulled Meier over after noticing the registration on his car was expired. In subsequent search, a baggie containing methamphetamine residue was reportedly found in Meier's pants pocket. He was held without bail this morning.

10 a.m., Sonora — Rebecca Jane Miller, 38, 19500 block of Cottonwood Street, Groveland, booked on a Tuolumne County warrant charging her with grand theft after surrendering at the Sheriff's Office. Miller has since been released without bail.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

Jared Matt Devine, 22, 200 block of Harlan Street, Denver, booked at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday after arrest on Highway 49 north of downtown Sonora.

Jeanne Rachelle Thurston, 48, 19600 block of Me-Wu Street, Tuolumne, booked at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday after arrest on Cherokee Road.

Robert Antonio Rodighiero, 35, 21300 block of Ridgeview Drive, Sonora, booked at 12:21 a.m. Tuesday after arrest on Highway 49.

MONDAY

12:05 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer checked on an occupied vehicle on the 400 block of North Washington Street.

6:44 a.m., theft — A man said fuel was taken from a fork lift and pickup at a business on the 1000 block of Greenley Road. The hose used for siphoning the fuel was still in the pickup's gas tank.

6:45 a.m., assault — An officer took a report on an assault that occurred at a bar on the 90 block of South Washington Street.

7:46 a.m., vehicle theft — A man at a business on the 500 block of Stockton Road said someone stole a personal vehicle from the business yard. The man said he had been at work Saturday and noticed the car missing Monday.

11:14 a.m., traffic accident — A non-injury crash was reported on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

12:49 p.m., reckless driving — An off-duty officer said he was following a driver who might have been under the influence.

1:26 p.m., reckless driving — A driver who might have been under the influence was spotted on Highway 49 near the north entrance to Sonora.

1:33 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported on North Forest Road.

2:46 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported on the 1000 block of Greenley Road.

7:14 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer checked on an open gate at a business on the 600 block of Shaws Flat Road.

11:20 p.m., warrant arrest — A 41-year-old woman was arrested on a Tuolumne County misdemeanor warrant at an undisclosed address on Highway 108.

TUESDAY

12:22 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer checked an open door at a laundromat on the 700 block of Mono Way.

3:47 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on the 400 block of Greenley Road said someone was trying to get into her apartment. She called back at 5:12 a.m., asking where she could get an alarm system.

7:24 a.m., fraudulent activities — A woman at Cost-U-Less on the 700 block of Mono Way said two checks received at the store had been written on closed accounts.

9:24 a.m., fraudulent activities — A man at Round Table Pizza on the 100 block of Stockton Road said he has received checks written on a closed account.

10:55 a.m., theft — A man on the 300 block of Jackson Street said items were taken out of his vehicle during the night. He was unsure whether the vehicle was locked. At 2 p.m., he reported a second burglary to his vehicle, saying a black fanny pack and a Bible were taken some time during the past 12 hours. When asked why he did not report this in the earlier report, he got mad and would not give the dispatcher any more information.

1:59 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury accident was reported on Sanguinetti Loop Road.

5:05 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on the 100 block of West Snell Street said a van had been parked there for four days.

Fires

MONDAY

5:15 p.m., Sonora — A vehicle fire was reported on the 13900 block of Mono Way. Damage was estimated at $500 to the seat, carpet and floorboard of a 1991 Subaru Legacy. The fire was caused by gas that leaked out of a can in the back seat and trickled down to the radio wires, igniting the interior. No injuries were reported. Maureen Salazar of Tuolumne owns the car. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

WEDNESDAY

1 p.m., Twain Harte area — A deck fire was reported on the 23300 block of Creek Road. Damage was estimated at $100. The fire was caused by overuse of extension cords, reports said. Rick Chrysler of San Jose owns the house. The tenant is Brad Potstio of the same address. CDF, Tuolumne County Fire Department, Mi-Wuk-Sugar Pine Fire Protection District and Twain Harte Community Services District Fire Department responded.

6:30 p.m., Twain Harte area — A flue fire was reported on the 18800 block of Middle Camp Road. No dollar damage was reported. Robert Hagg of the same address owns the house. CDF, Tuolumne county Fire Department, Twain Harte Community Services District Fire Department and Mi-Wuk-Sugar Pine Fire Protection District responded.

10:46 a.m., West Point — A caller on the 100 block of Veterans Lane reported identity theft.

11:40 a.m., San Andreas — A caller reported trespassers on the 200 block of St. Charles Street.

5:28 p.m., Valley Springs — A report of grand theft on the 6900 block of Cane Lane turned out to be a possible civil problem, according to the sheriff's log.

6:03 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller said a cellular telephone was lost on the 4400 block of Moccasin Court.
