MONDAY

6:50 a.m., Columbia — A caller said a man and a woman were pushing each other around in a motel room on the 22600 block of Broadway Street.

8:21 a.m., Soulsbyville — A Soulsbyville Elementary School employee found mail on the school grounds that did not belong to the school.

10:18 a.m., Twain Harte — A caller said a paintball was fired through a window at Schlink Wood Carving on the 22600 block of Twain Harte Drive.

10:39 a.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 18000 block of Fir Drive said a gas barbecue was stolen from his house in the past two weeks.

10:48 a.m., Jamestown Road — A caller said a man, known to be violent, was at a mobile home belonging to a woman who recently died, on the 20100 block of Jamestown Road. The caller said the man was going through the dead woman's belongings.

10:56 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 18400 block of Gardner Avenue said tools, a boat motor and fishing gear were taken from a travel trailer parked behind her house.

12:43 p.m. Peter Pam — A man on the 29000 block of Snow White Ridge Road said pictures, a VCR, vacuum cleaner and blankets, with a total value of $1,000, were stolen from his house.

2:28 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 23000 block of Mark Twain Drive said a stereo and chain saw were stolen and a window pried open.

3:08 p.m., Crystal Falls — A window at Vision Intelligence on the 21000 block of Crystal Falls Drive was broken.

4:15 p.m., East Sonora — A woman said her car window was broken and a briefcase stolen while the car was parked on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

4:18 p.m., Tuolumne — A sheriff's department volunteer said four men were drinking in Tuolumne Park, violating a city ordinance.

5:04 p.m., Columbia — A man said the parking toll booth at the entrance to Columbia College was broken into between 2 and 4:45 p.m. and money was stolen.

5:20 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller said a drunken man urinated on the sidewalk in front of a business on the 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive.

5:35 p.m., Tuolumne — A man at Wayne's Mini Mart on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road said three teens tried to buy liquor and became angry when the clerk would not sell it to them.

5:39 p.m., Tuolumne — A man at Tuolumne Market said three teens just stole liquor from the store on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road.

8:03 p.m., Campo Seco Road area — A man said that as he was walking down Campo Seco Road, two men in a white two-door car pulled over and jumped him.

Felony bookings

SUNDAY

6:34 a.m., Tuolumne — Carl Raymond Cox, 47, 13700 block of Big Hill Road, Columbia area, and Martin Ross Miale, 44, 16600 block of Draper Mine Road, Soulsbyville, both booked on felony parole holds after an arrest on the 19200 block of Cherokee Road.

Cox also was booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale and transporting a controlled substance.

According to a sheriff's report, a deputy stopped a car driven by Miale because of a broken tail light. When the deputy searched the men and the car, he found methamphetamine under the passenger seat where Cox was sitting, and methamphetamine and marijuana in Cox's pocket. The methamphetamine weighed 14 grams and the marijuana 13 grams.

Both were held without bail this morning.

MONDAY

2:32 a.m., Jamestown — Brandon Wayne Cooper, 23, 20300 block of Luke Court, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after arrest on Highway 108 at Golf Links Road, Jamestown. No details were available. He remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Brandon Roberson, 21, 1000 block of Brighton Avenue, Modesto, booked at 3:45 a.m. Monday after arrest on the 300 block of South Washington Street, Sonora.

MONDAY

12:18 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An off-duty fireman noticed a lot of steam coming from a business on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

1:23 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on the 90 block of South Barretta Street said prowlers were outside his window.

7:35 a.m., animal complaints — A caller on Morning Star Drive said two dogs were chasing cars. The caller said the dogs were doing the same thing last week.

7:41 a.m., threats — A caller said a man driving a white Toyota pickup with the words "TNT Multi Tractor" on the side was following the caller all over town, making threats.

9:50 a.m., traffic violation — A vehicle lost a wheel on the 300 block of South Washington Street and the wheel ran into a police car.

12:10 p.m., traffic accident — A man said his parked car was hit by a vehicle driven by an elderly woman. The woman got out of her car, looked over the man's vehicle, stated she did not cause any damage and drove off.

1:52 p.m., burglary — A caller on the 400 block of Bonanza Court said a storage shed was broken into and various items stolen.

2:13 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said several men in a black Ford SUV parked on Gold Street were selling stereo equipment out of the back of the vehicle.

2:16 p.m., traffic accident — A woman said her vehicle was struck by another vehicle while it was parked at Sonora Crossroads shopping center.

2:35 p.m., warrant arrest — A 23-year-old man was arrested on a local misdemeanor warrant after an officer saw the man at the skatepark on Greenley Road.

6:48 p.m., domestic violence — A 48-year-old woman was arrested on Greenley Road on suspicion of misdemeanor battery.

3:24 p.m., Avery — A caller from the 4000 block of Moran Road said tires were stolen from a business.

6:46 p.m., Valley Springs — A girl on the 2000 block of Vista Del Lago Drive said a man at the door asked her sister if their parents were home. The girl requested that a deputy drive by the house.

8:17 p.m., Jenny Lind — A caller on the 10000 block of Milton Road said a neighbor was shining a light in the eyes of anyone driving down the road.

8:52 p.m., San Andreas — Jacob Buckingham, 28, 200 block of Niderost, West Point, booked on Stanislaus County warrants charging him with felony battery, failure to appear and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license. Buckingham turned himself in at the Calaveras County Jail. He remained held this morning in lieu of $95,000 bail.
