WEDNESDAY

6:51 a.m., Columbia — A man said a historical monument on the corner of Marble Quarry Road and Parrotts Ferry Road had been knocked over.

7:21 a.m., Tuolumne — Gasoline was stolen from a Summerville Elementary School van parked inside a fenced area at the school on the 18400 block of Carter Street.

9:53 a.m., Belleview Oaks — A woman on the 21800 block of Bellview Road said her credit card company notified her $231 worth of goods had been charged to her account and sent to a different address than hers.

12:27 a.m., Jamestown — A man on the 16000 block of Stampmill Loop said mail was stolen from his box and someone tried to cash a check at a local store.

2:05 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said people are trespassing onto property on the 19900 block of Middle Camp-Sugar Pine Road. He said they were living in a trailer.

2:49 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman came to the sheriff's department after she received a death threat from another woman.

5:21 p.m., Lime Kiln Road area — A man on the 16700 block of Lime Kiln Road said a white van was pulled out of a field by the van driver's landlord. The driver then started an argument.

5:36 p.m., Jamestown — A teenage boy called when he heard loud banging noises coming from somewhere near his house on the 17600 block of Woods Way.

6:54 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said a 13-year-old girl was hit by another girl of about the same age in front of a business on the 23000 block of Joaquin Gulley Road.

7:55 p.m., Groveland — A caller said several teens were at Wayside Park near a candy booth and restrooms. The caller saw one of the teens was on the ground, possibly assaulted by others.

10:15 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 13000 block of Park Avenue said her house was burglarized and $4,820 worth of jewelry and video equipment stolen.

11:13 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man on the 21500 block of American River Drive said his 1998 Volkswagen Jetta was vandalized when a rock was thrown through the back window.

11:53 p.m., Columbia — A woman on the 22400 block of Airport Road South said a man who has been threatening her just chased her.

YESTERDAY

12:05 p.m., Tuolumne — Michael Eugene Fuentes, 47, 22900 block of Red Wing Trail, Twain Harte, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled narcotic substance, bringing drugs into jail and misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic syringe after a traffic stop and arrest on Tuolumne Road at Cherokee Road.

No details were available. Fuentes remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

12:41 p.m., East Sonora — Cisco Ray Crawford, 27, 21400 block of Green Meadow Lane, Sonora Meadows, booked on a felony parole hold after arrest on the 13700 block of Mono Way. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery.

A woman said Crawford assaulted her. No other details were available. He remained held without bail this morning.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Cody James Harrison, 20, 3100 block of Azucena Court, Coulterville, booked at 10:43 p.m. Wednesday after arrest on Highway 108 at Montezuma Junction.

Fires

WEDNESDAY

9:15 a.m., Crystal Falls area — A kitchen fire was reported on the 21900 block of Glenwood Road. The fire was caused by a lid left on a burner, which then filled the room with smoke. Angela Gentry of the same address owns the house. Damage was estimated at $20 to the lid. CDF and Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

WEDNESDAY

3:06 a.m., burglary — After a burglar alarm went off at a medical building on the 900 block of Sylva Lane, an officer found an open window.

10:26 a.m., public intoxication — A caller said three people in front of a convenience store on Stockton Road were drunk and causing problems.

12:29 p.m., found property — Prison inmates working at a park on West Bradford Street found checks.

4:47 p.m., traffic violation — A 43-year-old man was cited and released after being stopped for driving with a suspended license.

6:52 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man was drinking alcohol out of a paper bag in front of a store on the 800 block of Mono Way and refused to leave when asked.

10:40 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on Greenley Road said a tall man with light-colored hair comes to her patio every night and stares at her. An officer checked and did not find the man.

9:14 a.m., Murphys — A cell phone was stolen from a locked van on the 200 block of Jones Street.

9:35 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller said all the mailboxes on the 6000 block of Garner Place had been run over during the night.

10:03 a.m., Avery — A shed was destroyed and a generator stolen at the 1000 block of Avery Sheep Ranch Road.

12:42 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A woman was spotted dumping two bags of garbage at a church near Whiskey Slide Road.

11:15 a.m., Angels Camp — Timothy William Foy, 48, 1000 block of Bush Street, Angels Camp, booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property, altering a vehicle registration and driving with a suspended license after arrest at an Angels Camp thrift shop. As of this morning, he remained in custody in lieu of $33,000 bail.
