MONDAY

8:02 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said Christmas lights were stolen from Jamestown Coffee Emporium and were found in a trash bin nearby.

9:24 a.m., Columbia — A caller said a PG&E employee up on a power pole near the 22600 block of Sawmill Flat Road was being threatened by a man who would not let the employee come down. The utility worker was on the pole to disconnect service for non-payment.

12:58 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller said two teenage boys might have assaulted a neighbor on Confidence Road.

1:43 p.m., Long Barn — A woman said jewelry was stolen from her house on the 25000 block of Mono Drive.

3:23 p.m., Mono Vista — A woman on the 20800 block of Heavenly Drive said firecrackers were set off inside her mailbox.

3:27 p.m., Columbia — A woman on the 23000 block of Gold Springs Drive said someone fraudulently changed her address at the post office and mail was stolen.

4:03 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said a blue Toyota pickup was stolen from the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive where the truck was parked.

7:23 p.m., Standard area — A man on the 19000 block of Waif Mine Road said the driver of a red Ford Bronco tailgated him all the way home, then got out of the car and tried to assault him.

7:44 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 18500 block of Pine Street said another woman grabbed her by the neck, hit her head and broke a window at the caller's house before leaving.

8:46 p.m., Jamestown — A 28-year-old man was booked on misdemeanor warrants after an arrest on Fourth Avenue, Jamestown.

9:11 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a woman in a silver sports car pulled up to a neighbor's house on the 14000 block of Park Avenue and might have been taking things out of the house while no one was home.

10:01 p.m., Big Hill — A man said tenants served with an eviction notice have threatened to burn down a house on the 22400 block of Gunsight Road.

11:59 p.m., Columbia — A Columbia College campus security officer said a man was trespassing on school property. A deputy arrested the man on a misdemeanor charge.

MONDAY

10:58 p.m., Jamestown — Scott Raymond Held, 45, 2400 block of West Mendocino Avenue, Stockton, booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor drunken driving after an arrest on Highway 108 at Wigwam Road.

A deputy stopped a vehicle Held was driving for a traffic violation after seeing the vehicle weaving on the road. Held was on probation for a drug conviction. During a search, a deputy found three prescription pills in Held's pants pockets and five other pills in the ashtray.

Held was released after posting $10,000 bail yesterday.

Barbara Lee Carter, 71, 10300 block of Willow Street, Jamestown, booked at 1:59 p.m. Monday after arrest on Mt. Brow Road at Jamestown Road, Sonora area.

MONDAY

10:18 a.m., theft — A teenager was turned over to juvenile probation officers after being arrested on the 400 block of North Washington Street in possession of stolen property.

11:12 a.m., theft — A caller reported finding several bags of personal belongings and clothing in a stairwell on the 100 block of North Washington Street.

12:55 p.m., vandalism — A caller said a man ran over a no-parking sign on the 300 block of South Washington Street, then threw it into the bushes.

2:30 p.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in a traffic accident on South Washington Street near Restano Way.

2:46 p.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in a traffic accident on Sanguinetti Road, however, one of the drivers was reportedly hostile before an officer arrived.

3:09 p.m., vandalism — A caller said a large rock was thrown through the windshield of his car while he was driving on Highway 49 near Pesce Way.

10:12 p.m., disorderly conduct — A man was reported to be causing a disturbance at Signature Stadium 10 movie theater on Sanguinetti Road.

11:31 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller overheard three men offer money to three underage girls to have sex with the men while all were at a store in Sonora Crossroads shopping center.

1:29 p.m., Avery — A Pepsi machine was stolen from a business on the 4000 block of Highway 4.

John David Castle, 31, 20000 block of Lyons Bald Mountain Road, Sonora, booked at 4:51 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Parrots Ferry Road at Highway 4.

MONDAY

6:15 p.m., Copperopolis — A vehicle fire was reported on O'Byrnes Ferry Road at Black Creek Drive. No damage was reported. The fire was caused by an oil leak onto a hot exhaust pipe. Bob Newton of Coulterville owns the 1990 Suzuki Sidekick. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and Copperopolis Fire Protection District responded.
