SUNDAY

9:03 a.m., Apple Valley area — Vegetables were stolen from a garden and a gate was damaged on the 21900 block of Lyons Bald Mountain Road.

9:35 a.m., Sonora area — A man on the 20600 block of Skyview Drive said a tractor with the ignition switch punched out was abandoned on his property.

10:30 a.m., Tuttletown — A New Melones Reservoir ranger said $125 worth of camping equipment was stolen from Acorn Campground.

11:13 a.m., Racetrack Road area — A man on the 19000 block of Rough and Ready Trail said his house was burglarized overnight.

3:30 p.m., Twain Harte area — A Stanislaus Forest ranger said a man threatened to shoot anyone who came to hunt in "his area." The area was described as off 4N88 Forest Service Road 4N88 north of Lyons Reservoir. A ranger and sheriff's deputy checked the area but were unable to locate anyone suspicious.

5:17 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman on the 17400 block of Livermore Court said a $70 "gazing ball" was stolen from her yard.

6:47 p.m., Racetrack Road area — A man on the 20000 block of Nashua Road said two men in a dark-colored truck appeared to be casing the neighborhood.

7 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18100 block of Sixth Avenue said a laundry-room window was open when she came home.

8:45 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man on the 21800 block of Feather River Drive said neighbors told him a teenage boy was on his porch while he was away.

9:08 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man on the 17100 block of Nile River Drive said two suspicious-looking men were walking near his house at dusk and that fuel is now missing from his vehicles.

10:17 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A caller said a man building something in his backyard on Pela Road near Lavene Lane was disturbing the peace.

Felony bookings

SUNDAY

2:55 a.m., Sonora — Peter Joseph LeBlanc, 52, 10400 block of Violetta, Coulterville, booked on suspicion of felony drunken driving causing injuries after an arrest at Sonora Community Hospital.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, LeBlanc was driving south on Bonds Flat Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign at Highway 132. When LeBlanc realized he missed the stop sign, he slammed on the brakes, then lost control of the vehicle and ran into a small embankment.

A woman in his car, Shelia LeBlanc, 33, address undisclosed, was injured and both were taken to the hospital. LeBlanc was booked after receiving treatment and then released after posting $8,000 bail.

YESTERDAY

12:30 a.m., Jamestown — Charles Doyle Moreschini, 30, undisclosed address on Seco Street, Jamestown, booked on suspicion of possessing a concealed weapon after an arrest on the 18100 block of Highway 108.

A deputy saw Moreschini and knew his sergeant wanted to talk to the man about another case, so he stopped Moreschini. When the deputy searched Moreschini before putting him the patrol car, he found a dagger concealed in Moreschini's wallet and arrested him.

Moreschini remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Jason Mein, 24, 19100 block of Quercus Court, Twain Harte, booked at 12:45 a.m. Saturday after arrest on Twain Harte Drive at Hunts Road, Twain Harte area.

Gary Matthew Taylor, 21, 24300 block of Kome Road, Mi-Wuk Village, booked at 12:50 a.m. Saturday after arrest on Pela Road and Wuku Lane, Mi-Wuk Village.

Cory Corrales Brown, 46, 19300 block of Black Oak Road, Sonora, booked at 2:12 p.m. Saturday after arrest on Soulsbyville Road at Tuolumne Road, Tuolumne area.

Christopher Dwane Davis, 42, 23800 block of Leisure Drive, Twain Harte, booked at 11:06 p.m. Saturday after arrest on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive, Twain Harte.

Brandy Michelle Fuller, 31, 10300 block of Preston Lane, Jamestown, booked at 1:54 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Seco Street at Ninth Street, Jamestown.

Ryo Kazuko Nishikawa, 67, 11900 block of Highway 49, Sonora, booked at 2:55 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Tuolumne Road at Soulsbyville Road, Tuolumne area.

Russell Joseph Ramirez, 45, 10600 block of Seventh Street, Jamestown, booked at 11:19 p.m., Saturday after arrest on Stockton Road at Bradford Street, Sonora.

Fires

SATURDAY

6 p.m., Crystal Falls — A small spot fire was reported on the 17000 block of Nile River Drive. The fire was caused by an illegal debris burn that escaped. Lisa Hood of the same address owns the property. Tuolumne County Fire Department, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and Twain Harte Community Services District Fire Department responded.

SUNDAY

1:30 p.m., Smith Station — A small spot fire was reported on the 23600 block of Rock Hammer Road. Cause of the fire is undetermined. Westley Ward of Groveland owns the property. No damage was reported. Tuolumne County Fire Department, CDF, one dozer from Mariposa County, one crew from Baseline Conservation Camp and one helicopter from Columbia Air Base responded.

6:15 p.m., Shaws Flat area — A small grease fire was reported on a stove on the 20500 block of Eureka Drive. Damage was estimated at $500 to the stove and cabinet. One person suffered a minor burn on the hand. Tenant is Larry Griffith of the same address. Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

10 p.m., Twain Harte — A small fire was reported on a deck on the the 22900 block of Black Hawk Drive. No dollar damage was reported. The fire was caused by spontaneous combustion of a pile of rags. Teresa Mendoza of the same address owns the property. Twain Harte Community Services Fire Department and Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

Sonora police reports

SUNDAY

12:11 a.m., public peace — An apartment manager said a man was harassing a woman in an apartment building on the 400 block of South Stewart Street.

3:36 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man was near a tree and then in back of a building on the 300 block of Fairview Lane. A officer checked and could not find the suspicious-looking man.

3:46 p.m., unclassified — A woman on Snell Road found marijuana in her son's bedroom.

5:09 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man was on his roof on the 200 block of Ridge Road with a leaf blower, yelling and swearing.

7:43 p.m., public intoxication — A caller said a woman who had fallen in front of a business on Stockton Road had a knife and was causing a disturbance. A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
