Juanita Pearl Economou

June 24, 1914 — Oct. 23, 2003

Juanita Pearl (Kinscler) Economou of Sonora died Thursday at her home. She was 89.

She was born in Pittsburg, Kan., and lived in San Francisco for 59 years before moving to Sonora.

Her family said she enjoyed square dancing, playing golf and traveling with her husband, friends and family.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star for more than 50 years, and was a past matron. She was a life member of Daughters of the Nile.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Frank Economou of Sonora; a daughter, Patricia Ann Economou of Sacramento; two grandchildren, Leslie Keller of Martinez and Cynthia Lemon of Willits; and three great-grandsons, Logan and Sean Breeden and Andersen Keller.

No services are scheduled.
